Fun and cute little game :) The sound effects were great, especially the boulder crash. The music, however was very repetitive and I wish there had been a music mute button. ;) The art was awesome, I really like the ore veins.

This was pretty fun! I enjoyed climbing around controlling both dwarves at once.
You did great for the sounds and feel of the game. Everything fit quite nicely!

Personally, I'd like there to be more hazards around. Whenever something came along, it didn't feel very threatening at all. Also, perhaps some way of knowing when danger/boulders are about to show up, so I feel more like dodging is up to me instead of where I happen to be at the time.

Overall though, this was a fun play!

@mrpiedpiper That's a good idea to have warning indicators for the boulders! We'll definitely have to put that in an update. We did want more hazards but just ran out of development time. Thanks for the notes!

hooray, I could climb to the top of the mountain. The music is a bit annoying though. A simple climbing animation could also be added to the dwarfs, but the game is fun overall

I mentioned this in the comment of another title as well, but I personally dislike the donation popup for downloading of a Ludum Dare title to play and review. Anyways...

When I saw you had to control two dwarves at once, I was thinking "Oh man, this is going to hurt." But turns it felt great, I had no problems navigating both dwarves around and the controls reacted well and were fluid. I was immediately disappointed that obstacle didn't block your string, I really feel that would have taken the game over the top (no pun intended); as in it's current state it's pretty easy, and I didn't really see any sacrifices being made, besides maybe giving up a gold patch here and there. I liked the graphics a lot but there was weird artifacting going on with what I presume to a missing texture for the unclimbable parts of the mountain.

Overall had a good time, played it a couple times to beat my highscore, best I did was a 57, but I never really went horizontal much if at all. Good job.

@saoi-games Thank you for playing! And sorry about the loud, repetitive background music drowning out everything else, haha, we should've included an audio slider or mute option. That's something to be put in the "lessons learned" bucket!

This was really cute and fun to play, I would've loved to see the characters animated that would've really set it off. I loved the bats they were vicious lol. I got a highscore of 46 and had to kill one of them in one game sop it was a big mood. Congrats way to go!
