I like your Idea. For your first Ludum Dare that with no music isn’t a problem. Keep it up next time you’ll be better.

No worries! 😀 Game jams are for game developers to learn, after all. If you keep on improving and learning, you will gets there eventually.

Edit: I'm a GameMaker Studio 2 dev too, so here are my tips:

-Build it as a ZIP FILE, not an INSTALLER. Why? You'll get better ratings. It always somehow works, though no one knows how.

-RENAME your game in the Windows Options. Because, in fact, you game is called "Volcanic Ritual", NOT "Made in GameMaker Studio 2".

-following from that last one, make an ICON for it. [Here's a very good PNG to ICO converter](https://convertico.com/).

You probably should have exported youre game as a "one time executeable", so i dont have to install it and can just run the game.
BUT, the game was really fun, i was going with the dude that never gives back borrowed stuff, uff i hate people like him. :D

I agree, I should've made a one time executable, however I messed up my gamemkaer directories (I think), and now I cant create them. Thanks for the rating anyways!

When i run the executable i get the "choose a person to sacrifice" message but i am unable to do anything, no buttons or clicks provide input. D:
