Space Birds by Jakub Gemrot
SpaceBirds
My goal was to play around with Godot engine, I've used version 2.1.4. Never used it before or read any documentation about it upfront.
Unfortunately, I had much less time than originally planned; created in aprox. 9 hours.
In the end, I've struck some inefficiency in Godot that sometimes make the game tearing a lot; could not get around it (everything is pooled, no GC). Partially, I think the mouse mode is to blame... just a gist.
UPDATE: I've fixed the tearing, of course, Godot is not to blame ... or only partially ... GDScript is not as fast as I thought ... about 40k simple math operations is too much.
Try to be calm and contemplative, almost meditation-like, when you play the game.
I hope you enjoy it.
Oh, if your mouse cursor won't disappear, just left-mouse-click once ... some Godot quirk :(
Run
Windows build only (tested on Windows 10 only); download the rar from the link above, unpack and run SpaceBirds.exe from the folder SpaceBirds-Win64.

The music fits it pretty well and the graphics, even if simple, are actually not disturbing the overall theme and mood.
I had a relaxing experience :)
You made it so much easier with the flock system and it became much more relaxing than before when it made me rage quit playing the game.
It is very impressive that you have managed to learn how to use an engine that's unknown to you and release a game using it within 3 days that's actually very playable!
I know I have said it before but as much as the graphics are simplistic they look so polished and fit the space environment. I like it a lot :)
