This is really cool! A bigger screen/house would make this game a lot better. Maybe a difficulty setting could determine how big the house is and how many people are in the house. The music and sound effects all fit together very nicely, and it's so cool to see what people can do in GameMaker (I used it too)! Well done :)

Wow this is so adorable!! The sound effects fit in nicely with the feel of the game. I kind of wish there was a bit more challenge - perhaps if the human dropped things at a faster rate as time goes on? (Maybe the game does do this and I hadn't noticed, though!) I love being a little ghost that can fly through things though! :ghost:

Really cool! I guess you can continue this project and make a great mobile game. I really liked it!

This is great. Fun sound effects and music. Nice look to the game. Fun gameplay. The game started in a small window, but feels more fun in a maximized window to me, maybe make this the default option. (Took me some time to realize you could change window size). Only negative is that I don't feel it really realizes the theme of this game jam. Good work!

Nice game, Love how everything is balanced!
Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam!

Fun game! I dig your pixel work and combined with the sound/music it really creates a positive mood and playful atmosphere. I enjoyed the concept and the mechanics are great. I would have liked to see some kind of score kept and the tie in to the theme is loose but I had a great time playing. Good job!

Fun little game! The 8bit style and music fitted really well together. The idea was pretty simple which I liked, but it took quite a lot of text to explain it. It was fun to play, especially as you had to wait for the human to leave the room and he would just keep moving around in the same room. This really gave me the "silly humans" feeling the ghost must feel all the time. Also, is "spoopy" a typo or intentional?

@bobismijnnaam Thanks for the feedback and yes, "spoopy" is intentional

The Linux version wouldn't run. I think it is missing libraries or something. Let me know if you fix it so I can play :)

This game was really nice and refreshing. I've never seen a friendly stealth game until this one- and now I would like to see more.

Two things I think this game could improve to make it even better (besides obviously adding more levels if you had more time) than it already is would be to add the ability to put items back down and possibly a score system that counts how many items you put away.

It's really charming!

I wish there were more stealth mechanics to allow you to be in the same room as the person, since there were a lot of times when I couldn't really do anything until the person left the room. Being able to drop items would also be helpful.

Nice job!

@akai-0okami Great and cute little game! Very light hearted music really matches the friendly ghost vibe, and the use of the theme was very well done. Excellent work! P.S. Who leaves pizza in the bathroom?? Haha! :)

This was a really cute game! I liked how the tutorial gradually led you into how the game works, and the way it was written. The fact that the person leaves objects related to different rooms in different places was also a nice touch! Sometimes I found it a bit confusing to see and figure out which object was supposed to go where, but with some trial and error I picked it up :) Overall nice job!

@furiouswitch What happens when you try to run it? Or does it just not do anything?
Also what OS are you using? GameMaker's Linux export is only aimed at Ubuntu but I've had someone get the game working on Arch as well.

I reached the 'endless mode' straight after the bath had become available (maybe, after 5th - 7th object). Not sure if it is a bug or design :)
The game is very cute and interesting, I liked it!
Good luck with future game jams. I saw you do them a lot 🙃🎮

@bbaf Yes, as soon as the bathroom appears you go into endless mode. Thank you for the feedback!

@akai-0okami Nothing happens it simply doesn't run. I tried to run it from the terminal and it says some libraries missing. Ubuntu here too.

@furiouswitch Sorry, I was trying to figure this out but I just keep running into problems. I'm just gonna give up and remove the Linux export.
