Thanks @kevin-mooney and @konomizure! This is my first LD entry, and my first PICO-8 game. Glad you enjoyed a minute of wall painting

A simple yet unique game. A nice take on the theme. The overall aesthetic works well and is charming. I would have liked some sort of checkpoint system for levels so I didn't have to start again (which might have been a design choice due to the game emulating an old school arcade style - in which case I would have added a code system so that if you get to a certain level you can enter a code in the main menu to start from there.) Overall fun.

I really like the simple nature of the game. It fits the theme perfectly well being really fun. I just wish when I died I didn't have to restart. I only made it to level 8.

I love it! So simple, and it's so fun! :)

Music is great, the art style does perfectly well the job.
overall I have no bad remarks on this game. Maybe try to make it so that players can anticipate sudden light switches, because it gets harder pretty in order to align the paint brushes well.

Otherwise, I enjoyed playing this game, great job! :)

I like how simple it is. The music is very catchy! I couldn't get past round three after many tries. It gets hard fast.

I like the 8-bit sound design and the nostalgic feel of the intro. This fits the theme so well with such a simple design and concept! Great idea.

The only thing that I would like to see is maybe make it so that you can speed up the movement of the brushes so that you can get through the single brush level quicker. It doesn't have much difficulty until the second brush, so maybe shorting the time that the player might be less engaged after the first attempt.

I made it to level 16. I hope to see more from you in the future!

## Better than watching paint dry
But seriously, you turned the game feel dial to 11 on this. **Painting a wall has never felt so good** and that's a sentence I never thought I'd type. Good job!

I always wondered when I would finally get a wall-painting sim. Now, I can check that off my bucket list.

This is a coherently simple game. Nothing overly complex about it. And, you don't start off too hard.

However, I think I hit a bug, circa level 11, after a few play-throughs. I could not move my brushes down.

Good job on the force curve with the brushes, makes it tricky without feeling floaty. I especially like (hate) how the brushes bounce off the sides to defer would-be wallhuggers.

Always like it when games feel strange, and this game feels delightfully strange!

Good concept, the game gets pretty nerveracking level 10+. I really like the outlet as obstacles idea, simple but effective theming. Tbh I thought the music was pretty grating. I understand you did it solo though so I'm sure you couldn't spend too much time on it.

An basic concept for a game, but it's done pretty well. The music and graphics are basic yet excellent. However, I didn't like the controls. I just find them too floaty.

But I seriously HATE the fact that, if you make one little mistake, you are sent right back to the beginning, making it IMPOSSIBLE to learn from your mistakes. Besides that. Nice effort

Controls are a bit hard, but overall a solid entry. I like the relaxing music.

Hey! Great game I played it on stream last night

I loved the retro "CARTRIDGE" feel to it, and the music was just right

The game, although I only got to the 3rd brush - Played very right and it was on my own doing
that I couldn't make it past - Very fun and very fair!

One thing I would do would be to divide the game up into stages, with codes in between - each new stage having a different brush, a bigger brush, lots of huge brushes?

Great game anyway! A real treat for me to play
