MUSICAL CARD GAME

This is pretty much a proof of concept. It is not meant as a full game (There is just a single non-editable deck and one single battle).

The idea at the core of MUSICAL CARD GAME is a Magic The Gathering-style single-player card game, in which every card on the field plays a bit of music, therefore creating procedural "songs". If you manage to create a specific song you can even Exodia the game and just win on the spot.

The mechanics are pretty simple and the design fairly unbalanced. This was my first time coding a card game, so most of the time went to figuring out how to do things. Plus I had some minor problems in synching some tracks, so there are a couple of combinations of cards that sound like a headache.

That said, I hope you enjoy this rough prototype, I did have a lot fun making it ^ ^

I like the concept, it's really innovative. The idea of creating songs as you play is great, I think it has potential to become a full game.

The file size is pretty extreme for the game, I'd recommend compressing your audio to some format other than WAV. The card game took some figuring out but right about the time I did I broke the music somehow, had a bug where white noise came in when I hovered a card and it didn't stop. This is a very cool idea though, but it feels a bit tedious and some of the SFX during attacks are too loud. It needs some polish, and definitely a tutorial system (wasn't sure how to remove cards/if you could?). I know it sounds like all my feelings are negative but you did do a nice job and it is very interesting.
