made by Lerc for LD 42 (COMPO)

This is a simple non-scrolling platformer. Collect all of the pickups to reveal the door to the next level.

You have a time limit. There is a leak and the water level is rising, You can swim and hold your breath for a while, but you have to complete the level before you run out of breathing space.

Keys are WASD or Cursor Keys for movement. Ctrl or space to jump. There is an introduction level and Two proper levels. I would have liked to have more but level design require playthough which slowed things down qutie a bit.

If you play on Chrome on an Android device you can go fullscreen and use the onscreen gamepad. I haven't had a chance to test it on iOS or anything other than my own phone.

I could glitch under the map on some levels but besides that its a decent game.

Hmm, not sure I understand the water here, it seems.. helpful? Makes getting around easier as you can just swim.

Black screen with a yellow line from top left corner to bottom right corner. That's all.

The running animation was really nice and smooth.

I found the platform near the bottom of level 2 kind of confusing, since it looked like I could jump up to it but it was _just_ out of reach.

I was impressed by the moving platforms! They seemed to work well.

Cute platformer, though the levels are Jet Set Willy style frustrating! It would help to make the movements of the objects less complicated.

Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive.
As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)

I think the platforms should still be collidable under water.

Really loved the art. The small detailed animations were great.
The water felt rather benign most of the time, which took away from the sense of "running out of space"
The jump speeds were really nice, and the jump height was good. There were a few times I passed through moving platforms from above, which was a bit frustrating but understandable.
