Who knows what makes The Jumper portal into strange worlds to steal gold? I'm guessing he's a nut job. All I know is he's not a great jumper when carrying gold...

Left/Right or A/D to move, space to jump, R to restart if you get stuck.


My first platformer, and super mushy controls. Also ridiculous bugs that might fling you off a platform. And jumping issues. And barely enough levels to show the concept. But it could have been worse, given I'm fighting a cold and was busy Saturday night.

First off, thank you for deploying a web build! Second, cool game! The jumping controls were a bit floaty for my taste.

Only failed about 10 times on the level that taught you the 'R' key for reset haha, was a fun experience to play.

I played to the last level. The difficulty progression was nicely tuned, although the controls were a little floaty.

It fits the theme well. I like the "goal reached" sound effect. I'm interested to know how you made it. Good music too!

Controls felt very floaty, but if that was fixed the game would be nicely paced.

@tvance The high pitched portal sound (if that's the one you mean) I made by tweaking and cutting a random patch in BFXR. @mik3 @badly-drawn-rod @baknik Yeah, the controls are too float for my taste too! But I ran out of time. That will teach me to stop using the Unity physics engine for anything important.

The game has potential with nice artwork and audio, but I would reduce the sensitivity on the controls especially while in air as it was very hard to control the character. Maybe it is just me and my programmer keyboard, but I cannot tap the arrows short enough time that the game require me to do.

Otherwise, nice game. As the others have said, controls are floaty. But not due to the Unity physics being bad! Character controls are just unrealistic to begin with, so emulating them with physics is trickier.

Fun game man, enjoyed it. The controls felt a little too floaty for my liking but a nice game nontheless! Liked the messages at the start of each level too!

simple and challenging, the music is too short and a little annoying but taking that out, its a goodwork!

After the death and retry, here is the death-retry-redeath-blame_a_bug-and-retry! Definitely my jam but not sure it to the taste of everybody. To make it more mainstream (and boring) you could reduce character's momentum, it will tighten controls... But seriously don't do it, the game is awesome as it is!
