Nice! Loved the retro style, the music and the visuals. Very simple yet effective gameplay. Good job ^^

A really fun little game with really great puzzles!! Biggest issue from me was the buttons on the screen between each stage were in reversed positions from z and x on the keyboard, meaning I hit the wrong one quite a few times and had to start over from the beginning. Apart from that though, it was a really fun game though with a great learning curve, very nice work.

It took me so long to figure out how to press the "play" button :'D

@bubblewandgames thank you for your feedback! Actually in the screen menu if you go to levels you can access the levels you unlocked. Instead of starting over from the beginning :)

This game should receive more comments. Everything is in place, smart puzzles and right use of theme. Trying to merge puzzle and precision, was the only small downer for me. Other than that, well done guys :)

Nice feel. Interesting puzzles. Would have liked to be able to see how many levels there are in total.

Well done. I think you did a great job designing levels, and it felt very polished overall. I like that each level was named after typical theme suggestions. I think the flaws in UI / UX already been pointed out. Only thing i noticed is that I got into a state where I could not continue / die on level 10. Luckily I could reset without losing progress from menu. Other than I think the game it pretty much complete! :)


@tacohej thank you for the feedback! We tried to ensure suicide was always possible but we have missed this one :) This will definitely be corrected in version 2!

Les noms des niveaux m'ont fait rire à chaque fois, et j'adore le fait que vous repreniez le concept de votre petite mémé et les petits chats qui vont avec (toujours aussi mignons, au passage)
Les puzzles sont bien challengeant (je déteste ce mot mais j'en ai pas trouvé d'autre) j'ai passé pas mal de temps sur votre jeu au final, parce que j'avais envie de trouver la solution !

Very nice game and I love how you implemented different Ludum Dare topics as levels!

One of the best games for the jam I played so far. It is both funny and filled with entertaining puzzles. The music, animation and graphics feels very polished. A button to instant restart a level would have been great but it's an excellent job anyway !

Excellent on every aspect, good music, cute sprites and animations, challenging levels, well done.
I loved the use of older themes ;)
The only missing stuff would be a key to reset the current level, and have some jumps more forgiving (I had to retry 15 times a jump through a hole above my character, to get the exact spot where I could fit through the floor).

Same as @linheha, it's good to see those characters again! Great graphics, sounds, and particle effects! I had a lot of trouble on the fifth level, whereas I found those afterwards much easier (or at least more straightforward), maybe the order could be different? Otherwise good puzzles!

Seriously though, great little game. Calls back to the classic puzzle games of the Atari and NES. Felt polished and was fairly challenging, but enough so to still feel engaging. My only complaint would be that the music got a little grating. An option to toggle it on or off would have been convenient. Overall, excellent entry!

Excellent game, well scoped, and good use of the theme! Some levels had excellent solutions, and the music fit well (although was a little repetitive). Those poor kitties!

Its a fun and simple game. I like how you integrated the sacrifice mechanic in the game. The graphics are cool but a bit too colorful for my taste. I liked a lot the music and the sound effects ;)

Love the color in the graphics and the music is one of the best pico songs I've heard. The mechanic is cool but after about 8 levels it didn't feel really well utilized. The core of it is the positional calling of the cats, which was never much of a mystery what to do. The sacrificing of the cats was just an auxiliary to the calling. All you do is identify what spike needs to be a floor, and sacrifice the cats there. It's very straightforward and simple in a way that makes the sacrificing feel more gratuitous than an essential element of the game.

Well done on a unique game, genuinely stumped on a couple, so nice I could go to the menu and skip level. I like the retro vibe and how you scale the difficulty slowly. Well done for getting this done in time. I thought the number of spikes indicated how many cats needed to be sacrificed to fill the spikes but this wasn't the case, maybe something that's clear how many feline lives would need to be sacrificed would be good and maybe a confrm before exiting (no idea why I didnt just press the levels button instead of starting again from scratch) Overall felt pretty polished you done well

Nice interpretation of the theme. I had fun, I laughed and I noticed that the mechanisms are interesting.

pretty fun little game, good level design, difficulty scaled well. lot of fun little mechanics to play with. Only complaint is I wish restarts happened immediately after you died instead of having to press a button

Nice job! I had a lot of fun going through these levels. Would disagree with the complaint that the mechanic was unterutilized, but I guess to each their own. I did finish the last level with two extra red cats rescued, not sure if that is a known thing.
