NOW RELEASED

gif.gif

Imagine that you and your buddy are stuck on a tiny island constantly being under attack of terryfing pterodactyls. You have to decide whether to defend your island or to develop its economy. The bigger the island grows under your gracious rule, the more buddies there are to help you out! But also there are more pterodactyls! How long will you survive?

Fortunately, you don't have to sacrifice one of the exotic islands you probably own - we decided to provide you with an amazing simulator! (also a big plus for people afraid of pterodactyls) You are welcome!

Controls and How to Play

  • Click on unoccupied tiles to build (click on water to hide the build menu)
  • Click on a building to send your one little Dude to work in that building
  • New Dudes and new island tiles appear every time the progress bar finishes
  • You will almost always have fewer Dudes than building so you will have to send them back and forth

I liked the concept a lot. I was very sad when the swarm of pterodactyls came and destroyed my island. I wanted to keep playing.

I had trouble figuring out what the controls were. A quick note in the description would have been helpful. Also, the balancing seemed a little off; only two pairs of factories was way more than enough to produce all the turrets I could man.

Overall, a great game. I enjoyed it.

Thanks for playing our game! I'm glade you enjoined it.

There is a "Controls and How to Play" on this very page :) But we did make the mistake of not including it in-game :(

Also, thank you for the game balance feedback. We will definitely work in that department if/when we take part in a second Ludum Dare (this being our first).

A simple idea made into a really fun game. The only small complain I have, is that the game is too short. But overall very well done.
