Features

  • Endless Gameplay! You will never stop playing this game; Be sure to make peace with your loved ones before firing it up!
  • New and never-before-seen BLINK ability! Blink in any direction to zip there at the speed of mostly-still-perceptible light! I'm sorry, I lied earlier. The Blink ability is from Overwatch. They worked very hard on that game and I should not have tried to steal credit.
  • Three different enemy types! That's a lot for a game I had to throw together in three days!
  • Mega Man sound effects!!! How can you go wrong with Mega Man sound effects?
  • Humiliatingly rushed character model skinning! Enemies will get the upper hand on you by clipping their chests right through their armor!

This was surprisingly fun to play! While the controls and camera were a little wonky, the game feels very polished. You did a really good job with transitions (game start transition, between level transition). I also actually laughed out loud when I saw the bomb character! And like you said, the game was so much better on a controller. I started on the keyboard and was really frustrated. I think using mouse to aim with the keyboard would have worked pretty well. There were some bugs here and there like enemies colliding through their spawn capsule/the next level started loading before all the enemies are dead(so I just stood there and let them kill me :( Overall, this is a really fun entry!

this was... surprising. I quite enjoyed it, and found myself laughing aloud from the ridiculousness of it all quite frequently. the reckless dismissal of "intellectual property" and "game design fundamentals" lead this to be an unusual and entertaining experience. the sound design really helped everything come together, without it I believe the entire thing would have fallen flat and seemed like a mishmash of stock assets. the only actual bug I encountered was that you can still move the camera during some cutscenes.

Thank you for the feedback of [Infecteria](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/infecteria). We really appreciate it! We’re gonna be developing Infecteria further and will definitely contain cutscenes!

The 3d models and animation are amazing in your game. It almost looks like you’ve made this in Unreal Engine because the graphics are so good. But frankly the gameplay became quite stale after a while. But hey, It’s awesome what you’ve managed to make in this short amount of time. Maybe you could add a bit more obstacles, jumping and other mechanics to make it more interesting if you’re gonna be developing this further. Hope to see you in the next jam!

Something feels wrong about dying from falling off the edge in this game! It doesn't really fit, it feels like it should just focus on the shootbangs and have falling off a ledge just respawn you with like 10 life lost!

Put some powerups in there, slap in a few extra enemies and bam! Done. Maybe some variation on the big gray platforms too.
Heck, thinking about it, you could make it into a sort of smash TV sorta thing..??

@frankiesmileshow After watching you play it, I couldn't agree more. The only reasons you'd fall off the platforms are due to misjudging a blink (which 99% of the time my camera/controls are to blame), or because you **fell through solid geometry** - neither of which warrant the end of a playthrough. Sorry that the game sabotaged you from being the world champion! And once again, thanks for giving it a spin! It was fun to watch you play!

Pretty nice game, but controls and feel are a bit jank kinda, but I guess thats to be expected with a ludum dare game.
