WE SHIP by blxckmass

[raw]
made by blxckmass for LD 42 (JAM)

Here it is, my Ludum Dare 42 entry, WE SHIP, a game about a man shipping packages, and he just wants to ship them fast, so you can get it faster? hell no, he just doesn't want to spend all day shipping packages, you have 30 seconds to take the packages to the trucks, only way to progress is shipping everything in time. Yes, I will add more stages and make it better, this is it for now, I really need to get some sleep in order to help you guys when you call me because someone like Frank didn't do his job (that's what I call breaking the fourth wall!) Enjoy :)CapturaFinal.PNG

Fun little game!

Pros:
- Fun gameplay and mood

Cons:
- Controls felt a bit slippery, but I got the hang of it later

Cheers!

I actually really liked this game. I just could not get past the 3rd level.

This is amazing! Great simple concept, everything looks clean, controls are solid, and the levels are well designed. It gets me feeling all frantic. A full version would be awesome!

Good game! I liked how the boxes felt kind of springy. I also really liked the music and thought you picked a great asset for that. I think three levels for a puzzle game in a game jam is plenty. Puzzles aren't easy to come up with, and I felt the way the third level was structured was pretty fun. Everything seemed to fit as long as you cleared obstacles and you had to drag one all the way across.

@designernap Thank you Mr. Napper, I admire your work and having a comment from you after playing my game means a lot.

@nihilaleph I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@n00b Third level is the tricky one, thanks for playing!

@mekamm Thank you! Will do, I'm definitely going to make a full version.

@phearbot Thank you for taking the time to play! I'm really happy with the way the boxes feel, and yes, that first box was meant to be the last one, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Digging the music!

The hectic way boxes are splayed around makes the levels feel a bit messy, and it's easy to accidentally clip on something. The pushing/sliding interactions also feel a bit off.
