Hey, really fun clicker.

I've played a few popular clickers and have a couple of suggestions:

Your game is susceptible to auto-clickers. I set mine to a duration of 1ms and racked up points really quick. Maybe set some really small but realistic limit for clicks (like maybe 10-20ms between clicks max.)
Maybe make an upgrade that increases click power.

Other than that, very nicely done. I really enjoy the art.

I just found another small bug, if you hold down control and click to buy 10, the next 10x price shows up incorrectly until you release control and press it again.

Edit: It turns out this happens with any item. To go from 66 to 67 Fire People costs 4,232C but to go from 67 to 68 costs 523,213C. If I press and release control, the price to go from 67 to 68 costs 4,317C. Also I double clicked on buying an item and my controversy went to negative!

@connor-hagan Hey, since this bug was pretty game-breaking, I tried to fix it. Hopefully it's fixed now, I don't want to touch it too much after the deadline.

P.S. I also re-enabled the tutorial that got disabled in the testing process. Whoops!

@improx-games I believe bug fixes are allowed, you're just not supposed to add any new features to the game!

Glad I could help you catch it! The only bug I still found (I went back and played your game again for another 15 minutes... good job on making it addicting!) is that the money went negative still while buying the item after "Build a Wall". I went so far negative I couldn't recover hah.

Also, I didn't get to hear the music before as I was at work. It's really good!

Haha, ok this is silly but it's pretty fun! I loved building a little self-sustaining controversy machine, and your controversy currency system is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

I like the aesthetics here - the excellent and fitting soundtrack, constantly rolling news ticker, and chattering Trump all add nice flavor to the game. However, I did have issues with tooltips not appearing a lot of the time, so I had to make some blind decisions. Perhaps as a result of this, I kinda stalled out at Anti-LGBT/Build a Wall tier. Also, I honestly don't see the connection to the theme. That said, this is a fairly covfefe

@piscythe Trump is trying to get out of power. He's running away from it. He's running out of power. It's a bit of a stretch, yes, but I think well within the theme!

Sucks that the tooltips didn't work for you. =/ Seems like right-clicking might fix them, at least sometimes.

I don't know what I am doing as I just randomly click around! The people just don't want me to put out of the office.

But I guess that is the goal of the game... :)

Another political satire game haha, it seems to be a theme in this game jam. Love the background music it was quite very good. The pixel art and animation on trump was great. Very nicely done clicker game, doesn't feel too long or too short. Would be nice buying those things will change the graphics. Overall quite enjoyable. Well done!

Nice clicker. The UI looks an aweful lot like "Idle Hacker", any inspiration from there? I really like the pixel art, looks great.

Great clicker. The art is awesome and the music goes very well with the game.

Not a big fan of clickers, but I have to appreciate the theme, graphics and audio in it :)
