Puny World by Joe Cowman

You are Ludarius, a lesser god.
You are a student at the Heavenly School for Divine Beings and Other Ghosty Things.
For your senior project, you are tasked with ruling a world for one year.
It shouldn't be too hard, right? It's such a small world.
For Ludum Dare 38 (Theme: A Small World), I created a goofy god-simulation game. Gameplay consists of answering the prayers of your followers.
Disappointingly, I ran out of time to create a lot of story content. So this is more of a mechanic demo! If you like it, try the post-jam version! It has more characters and choices, and I plan on updating it more in the future.

I'm an horrible god.
Maybe more choices and music would had been a cool addition.
Overall very creative and well executed game!
Fun game!
I LOVE IT
(Sorry for my bad english)
(An _exceedingly_ minor niggle, but there are _way_ more than 300 million birds on Earth. Also, the comma placement is real weird on the score screen).
I like the humor, I liked seeing what kinds of things happened by trying the other branches. As I tried getting all the endings I noticed that it become kind of tedious to wait for the prayers to arrive, the little wait inbetween them felt kind of annoying after a while. Some way to skip ahead to soothe the increasing impatience as that little pause arrives again and again would probably be nice.
I like the concept too, I think with more complex branching and maybe even some deeper storylines, it could be a pretty compelling experience. Obviously it needs some sound as well, as audio done well always enhances an experience.
So, good job on your entry!
Only one downside - Short :/
