Funny game idea, it was interesting to play a football game in first person while not getting eaten by zombies.
A bit unfair, that you can take damage while the game displays "Goal", but you can make pretty far shots so that balances that out I guess^^
The sound design creates a nice mood, even if it's not scary.

I loved how you could just run like that with the ball. I always disliked FIFA games but I actually really enjoyed this interpretation. I'd love for you to make a full football game like this :smiley:

fun little game! pretty satisfying hitting the zombies in the head, got a little difficult when I got further into the game, lost the ball at one point in one of the corners but couldn't see where it went as it blended in with the advertising boards, perhaps you could texture them so the ball is a little clearer but other than that a solid entry!

Haha we did have similar ideas! Its funny how we both took the route where it doesnt matter if you kill or not, only if you score a goal! One of the most fun LD entries i've played!

This is pretty much a 1 to 1 representation of my experience during high-school PE classes :P Seriously though, I've played two other games that used a similar idea but I think that I like your implementation the best. The controls are very tight, dribbling past zombies is incredibly fun and so is shooting their heads off. I may be slightly biased because I always liked the idea of playing football in the first person but not many games offer that experience (behind the back camera in FIFA/PES is probably the closest thing to it though it's only practical in the career mode) so your game managed to scratch that itch.

The one thing I'd change is that I wouldn't allow zombies to spawn behind the player because at some point you're destined to die before you make your first move. This is a somewhat realistic outcome in a zombie apocalypse of course, but it's also the only frustrating thing about this game.

Other than that, I had tons of fun playing your game. Definitely a 5/5 experience in the fun category.

P.S. You could've easily called this game "Polish Ekstraklasa Simulator" :P

love zombies! haha, this was funny. Blasting the ball around was pretty fun on its own. Really enjoyed beating up the zombies with the ball too! great features. I was happy that the ball respawned after my high-speed miss bounced off the goal-post and out of this world. haha! zombies are fairly easy to avoid, but they can sneak up on you if you aren't careful. nicely done.

Very funny concept, I liked playing. :soccer: It would be interesting to see different types of enemies

The idea is interesting, and the game is simple and fun to play. The enemies is perhaps a bit too easy too avoid, but for me it is okay. The game really needs some sounds, and perhaps some music. Overall a good LD game. Well done.

Have you tried to turn up the volume? Game have sounds, and constant football chants in the background.

Yes I have turned the sound on, and I heard nothing. The issue can perhaps be because I played the WEB version.

Thank you for mentioning it, and sorry for that. What is your os and browser? On my firefox and chrome sounds are working fine. No idea what is the issue.

I used chrome.

Controls are very well made and it is fun to play, direct fun. The next step would be to add some more features I think. Maybe different kinds of zombies. Difficult when you start being surrounded with enemies, the back should be free

I would like to see power ups in this game like Fire shot(so everyone near to that shot are die)
