BlowScape by Fleoh
This is our first Jam together, we decided on a combination of Plateformer and Tower Defense. We work at two on this project and it was very interesting and fun. Everything thing that you will see in this game have been completely realized by us, code, graphics and musics !

Gameplay
You play a machinist on a Zepplin called the BlowScape which is trying to a escape some... some bad guys. All component of the BlowScape works with coal. You need to charge every component with coal to make them work. You can also upgrade component to work faster or to be better.
Your objective is to make the best score.

Some other recommendations for your game: The turrets should only consume coal, when they are shooting. The repair should be more efficient, it is just way to expensive/weak right now.
For the engine, it slows the spawn of the ennemy. I have add some informations about the utility ^^
Thank you for your recommendations, I think that we will make a more complete game in the future. For the repair, we have try a lot of combinations but never find a good one with the start and the late game. Maybe the possibility of upgrade it...

Got all the upgrades!
1. make the option to upgrade the armor of the game. This automatically also upgrades the repair feature, but it becomes more expensive (result: no need to click two hundred times in late game to repair the vehicle entirely)
2. Make the turrets last longer (Maybe upgrades affect duration)
3. Let the coal bar get filled up by pressing K just once (saves time)
4. Add more content in the future, this has potential!!!
For the hundred taps, it was wanted, we were trying to make a superactive game but maybe that is too much actually !
71800 is a good score btw.

@ccglp I think that more informations about how works the turrets could be great ! I will add this in the future
@HS_Dave For the controlsn we have tried a bunch of combinations and this was the most playable. Maybe add others controls on the mouse or idk... Thank you for you'r post !
@Eldemarkki Yes ! It's a part of the game that we really need to balance, add some upgrades for the coal stock will be add ^^
@Aerynus Absolutely not the most original. At the beginning, we wanted to let the player place the turrel where he want and add a bunch of upgrades but the time got us.

@Veilastrum It was one of our fear, the managing, upgrades, the prices but we're happy to see that it can be played !
Otherwise, it's good to be right away in the action.
The Zepplin is well made.

I think it's cool. There are a lot of directions you can take this in. It's really hard to criticize without knowing your plans for it. As it is, it feels very complete. It's one of the most complete games this LD for sure.
