PowerClick is a very simple game that takes place on a virtual mobile phone. The mobile device's battery is draining constantly, and all you can do is to delay the inevitable.. a total loss of battery power!

Circles of various sizes will spawn at random locations, and you have to quickly click these circles to gain points. The longer you can keep the game running, the more points you will get.

The points you receive for clicking on a cirlcle is based on the following: - The distance from your previous click (longer distances gives you more points) - The size of the circle you clicked (smaller circles gives you more points) - The time since you last clicked a circle (shorter times gives you more points)

I wasn't able to start programming until saturday evening, so I decided to keep it simple.

Hope you enjoy it!

Neat little game. I like that you added a mute button (not that the music is bad, just it's cool that you thought of it). I do wish you had explained how clicking the circles stopped the phone from dying.

Simple and fun, but very repetitive, adding some pickups would definitelly add to it. Also changing colorful circles to apps or something else would definitely make this game better.

Reminds be a bit of osu, or maybe it's just the circles >.< The game could use some progression. It doesn't look like it become harder with time. The visual feedback of points is quite nice, but I have to say the core game play is on the bland side.

I also thing I found a bug where if you hit the edge of the screen (when a circle is near?), you can keep clicking and a new circle will come.

Nice idea. It would probably work well as an actual mobile game apart from draining the battery lol! Some different modes like multiple circles or moving circles, power ups and changes in pace could really improve it. Good job keeping it simple and getting it finished for the compo deadline.

@reboundgames Thanks for your feedback! The music can become a bit annoying if you play the game for a while, so I decided to add a mute button. Note taken about the explanation.

@theflyingkeyboard Thanks for your feedback! I thought about adding powerups or something similar, but I just couldn't fit it in because of the tight schedule. I like the apps idea!

@pete Thanks for your feeback. Haven't seen that bug before, nice catch. I was planning on adding some kind of progression, but I didn't have the time to do it.

I really like the music - it gets you into the perfect circle-clicking mood. The gameplay was simple but effective. I would have liked to have choice between circles to click; the risk-reward element is already in the scoring system. Nice job for just a day of programming!
