Last Hyperjump by Christoffer Krakou

[raw]
made by Christoffer Krakou for LD 39 (JAM)

A last, desperate attempt to warn the Galactic Federation of an impending invasion. Guide the Seraphiel through asteroid fields and enemy patrols, while conserving the energy needed to sustain yourself.

Use the mouse buttons to fire the laser cutters and fire the rockets. Everything you do is draining you, so don't waste energy.

Short but sweet! The controls felt great, just right for this kind of game, and the sound and music fit very well. I just want more of it, thanks for making this game and participating.

It's a bit short and you can't restart (you have to reload the page) but it's fun nonetheless

I like the idea of this game, but I personally feel the execution was missed a little bit. There's no need to attack any of the asteroids and I still don't know if I'm supposed to or not. Also there are no controls listed on the page so having those next time would be great! I didn't encounter any enemy patrols as the description said I would, and just sorta coasted to the exit very easily in a few seconds. Challenges and obstacles that can't be easily avoided would make this game great!

Love the atmosphere and the controls were really nice and intuitive, but there is not that much in the game. It needs more levels or more time in that level, and maybe more components (Like shields and enemies). The music was terrific, and you really captured the space theme! =D

Pleasant to play, but too short.. has potential, though! The music and the sound are perfect. Nice job!

I like this type of game, but it's pretty short, try to make more levels, or more difficult to get to the objective, it's gonna make the game a lot better xD. Nice work ^^

Nice game. You could improve it even more by adding powerups such as refueling pickups.

Maybe I was missing something, but the game seemed too short and easy, I had got to the end goal within about 30 seconds and had had no reason to fire the laser cutters. I feel like the game was missing something and didn't feel quite finished. The laser effects felt good, but there was no reason to use them. I feel like the game needed enemies or perhaps the asteroids should have moved faster to make you need to use the lasers to destroy them before they hit you.

The controls are very nice, I like the rate the ship decelerates at. Of course it is very short, and there also doesn't seem to be much reason to use the blaster since you can get around most everything pretty easily. Having some solid walls of asteroids could make the decision of which tool to use more interesting.

Works pretty well, controls are straightforward, no way to restart as far as I can tell.
