Title.PNG

You find yourself trapped in a collapsing cave! You are quickly running out of space to breathe, you need to climb quick! Climb as much as you can before the water inevitably floods the whole cave.

CONTROLS - AD to move left and right - SPACE to jump (you can press it twice to double jump)

TIPS - Can't find a way up? Use the falling boulders to reach that next platform! - Although your goal is to avoid the water, you can also use it to your advantage because of the reduced gravity! - There is a leaderboard, so compete to be at the very top!

Its to bad that you didn't have the time to finish it. But the idea is kinda cool. Sometimes it is hard to use the falling stones to climb up. The highscore system is pretty neat. =)

A solid entry but for me it is way too difficult. But maybe that's only me :)

Google drive links do not seem to work, some stall out while others 404.

Good game, level generation could use more work. As its a bit rough trying to get up to even a few meters.

Great entry! Controls could be a little more fluid but I liked how the character changed colours depending on their health and how the level wasn't the same every time :)

Very difficult but addicting. Cold turkey quit at 43m.

This game was great. I love how the boulders fall slow enough for you to use them as platforms to boost yourself. I loved how fast paced it was and how I felt like I truly had to go sonic speed to escape the rising water. Each time I played the levels felt unique- not sure if you used procedural generation or just randomly pick from an assortment of levels, but I never found myself bored or saying "oh gee, this level again."

I never was able to make it past the third room. I kept playing to try to get 1st place but I fell short in 2nd with the name "Rodman."

Overall a very fun game. Good work.

Really nice graphics and interfaces, also fun to play. The leaderboard function is amazing, more games should have that!

Jumping felt good. I had fun with it! I got to 360m before giving up since I think I had seen everything at that point. I really liked the sound effect as you were climbing. I thought the boulder sounds off screen were kind of annoying, however. Solid entry!

I really like the idea and it is lots of fun to play. It fits the theme very well, and I really like the way the players health is indicated by its transparency.

The ability to use rocks as a jumping point while they're still falling is an interesting mechanic, as is the ability to intentionally let the water catch up to you as a jump boost. The player avatar changing color is a nice and subtle way of telegraphing how close you are to drowning.

The difficulty curve starts off a bit _too_ difficult, in my opinion. Maybe I'm just not skilled at this sort of game, and my best record was just shy of 50, but the experience mostly ended up being about a minute of mild frustration per playthrough. If you can adjust the terrain generation to be more generous with ledges for the very first segment of the game, you can make it feel like you at least make some progress before the game tosses you off into the deep end.

Love the leaderboard, however the game and it's gameplay mechanics itself were laking in some kind of flair..... Try addding some signature mechanics to the game, and I think it will be more fun.

@ksyne Thanks for the response! I aimed to add some unique mechanics into using the boulders to reach platforms and also using the water (the exact thing you are trying to avoid) to your advantage. I agree that I should’ve exchanged some of the extra polish I placed on the game for more mechanics.

I like what you did with the start menue : D
the ranking is also enticing.
I like how the player slowly fades as they are running out of breath ^^ no need for a bar or anything .really smooth.
