Through the window of your bunker you stare into the wasteland beyond yearning for the day you might return. Someone appears, looking into their eyes you see desperation, tiredness and despair. Will you let them join you inside or will you leave them outside to die.

In Bunker Down you need to speak to people on the outside of you bunker and decide if you will let the join you in safety. You only have a limited amount of space so you can't save everyone.

I liked the art style of the game, I thought out of all the submissions this one has the best Mood! It was a well thought out and well developed game! I think you all did a great job with the story of it! Great Job :)

Hi. It's pretty simple and fun. After few game sessions i reach pale and colored endings, but game conclusion is poor for feedback how good was last attempt. How many endings are there?

@sergem Thanks for the feedback! There were 7 endings in total I think in future we could maybe title the endings to give more obvious feedback

I'll agree that it wasn't exactly straightforward by what metrics you should allow and refuse people to come in, but I think I got it after a few playthroughs. All round, well thought out game, the art is really well done too!

@sgtweirdo thanks, we were hoping that people would do a few playthoughs so the stats are intentionally obscured a bit.

Is there any good ending? :) Even if my shelterians don't kill each other the world outside seems grim. Nice idea, and solid effort for the first game jam.

I quite enjoyed this. I loved the art and mood. Played a couple times and got a better (less bleak) ending. It was fun deciding who to let in. Some seemed like a no brainer but then someone that sounded slightly more qualified came along and made me glare at the less qualified person taking up space. I let the dog straight in but not the whiny people, we've all got problems in the wasteland, lady!

Very nice game idea, music fits very nicely, best mood. Well done! One suggestion: I think randomly generated personalities could improve this game. But even in its current state one of my favorites of this jam. :thumbsup:

@tomeks Thanks, there is a good ending it's just really hard to get. You need to balance your stats well and get a little lucky.

@matzetoni Thanks a bunch. I totally agree, would love to have done some random generation, we just ran out of time! There are a decent number of characters though so you should get some different ones each run.

The game was really fun! The dialogs and choices were really interesting and it was overall a fun experience. Great job!
