To keep my streak alive, here's another Ludum Dare entry that has no "Ludum". I've been wanting to create a real-time audio visualizer for a while now and just used this LD as an excuse to finally do it. I combined the incompatible genres of "not a game" and "also not interactive." Have fun listening to four brand new tracks while circles grow and shrink in size. Fun for the whole family!

All music and code created during LD41.

Amazing job as usual! The audio is addicting, and I kept it on loop long after I should have walked away. A+ Entry, and I'll be sorely disappointed if this doesn't smash the Audio category apart on it's way past everyone else. Great job with the waveform display, this would be a neat project to hack onto a monitor that hangs on your wall and listens to your currently playing music.

This was a super interesting idea for the two genres to combine lol. Visuals are really well done and the audio is fantastic.

Insanely cool viz and awesome tracks. Surprising variety in genre and you nailed them all. The viz seemed to be dominated by bass though. It had really cool effects when the melody was there alone, but it didn't show any difference when there was a melody with bass.

Hard to rate properly when it hasn't really tried to fit in with the jam's theme. but good visualiser, and the fact you did the music too is really impressive. :)

The visualization is fantastic. I beat the game using the immense interactivity. I am the best.

I wish I could follow you on LD! This was a nice change...nothing to install and I had fun. Seems like you could make a game with this if you chose to.

Very nice music and visualization, quite hypnotizing actually. Obviously not much of a game, but really good in its own right. I sat in front of it for quite some time :)
One minor thing: When there was more going on it was hard to see the melody lines.
PS: May I ask which plugins you used for the music?

Great entry. But not a game - as you said. However you did a sympathic entry. Well done ++

@Erkberg Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the music, I use Reason for my music production and mostly use stock synths and plugins. Of the non-stock plugins, I made heavy use of TDR Nova for dynamic EQ, Expanse by Blamsoft for a few of the synths, and an assortment of Joey Sturgis Tones plugins on the mix (JWBusGlue and JSTClip a few places, Toneforge JR for guitars).
