Warehouse by Monstr

You play a worker in a warehouse. Your job is to take the boxes that get delivered and place them neatly on the floor. It's a pretty hard job! Your boss may fire you if you don't do it properly.

Controls

Key | Action(s) --- | --- Arrows | Move/Pull Box/Push Box/Spin Box Z | Grab Box/Press Exit Button X | Flip Box

While grabbing a box you can move backwards/forwards to pull/push the block, you can move sideways to spin the block (maybe this takes some getting used to) and you can flip the box over your head.

Gameplay

Move the boxes that come through on the conveyor belt onto the score area (marked with the large square on the floor). Boxes that aren't completely in the score area won't count towards your score.

You must be fast and efficient since boxes you miss will be deducted from your score! If you let too many boxes go you might be fired!

When you're ready to finish press the button (using your character) in the top right just outside the score area. This will stop the conveyor belt and end your shift.

Updates

After reading EatThePath's comment I added an easier difficulty mode as well as adding a toggle grab option. Hopefully this makes playing more comfortable for some players.

I really liked this one! At one point it got so chaotic I couldn't stop laughing. Great job!

Nice twist on the tetrisy ideas. You aren't kidding it about being hard though. I think it'd be a bit more fun if the grab was a toggle instead of somethign you had to hold down, and if there was some visual feedback of it. Overall quite nice though. Extra point for adding in a volume control.

This is a pretty interesting concept. I like the idea of combining Tetris-like block sorting with a top down perspective and a controllable character. It's also interesting that you let the player decide when they want to finish, giving the game a sort of risk/reward aspect. One thing I noticed is that you can just use blocks to clog the conveyor belt so that no blocks will ever leave the screen, giving you as much time as you want. Overall, this is a pretty solid game. Good job!

It's hard to get used to the controls and the rotating, but once you get it, it's great. I really liked it!

z is a bit hard to use on keyboard layouts which have it not next to x (german or french for example). Localisation is an annoying thing ;) fun concept anyways.

Interesting concept. Flipping the objects was slightly confusing at first, wouldnt take long to get used to it though. Overall, a fun game.

They control scheme is a bit un-intuitive but the concept is really cool once you get the hang of it

Pretty neat take on a tetris game, where you can choose blocks to completely ignore and take the ones you really need. As @superpokeunicorn mentioned though I did accidentally find out with the L blocks that you can block the conveyor belt and take your time/have no penalties for picking and choosing. Other than that it's a pretty solid game, great work!

I'm gonna be honest, I liked the idea but the controls ruined it for me. The arrow keys should only be used for controling the player and the X button should be used for spinning them. What could be better also is that when you press the arrow keys instead of first turning the player then moving, it should turn and move at the same time.

I liked the idea but I didn't like the controls. It was really hard because of them. In my opinion X should only rotate a piece and the arrows should only enable the player to move int the 2D space. I liked the artstyle and the sound effects were nice. It lacks some music as the game's athmosphere is pretty dull as it is. Good job nonetheless.
