Maybe visual novels aren't my thing.
All jokes aside, a neat little story about how life and love are, in a word, growth.
It seems like this couple is extremely unlucky and people are quite devious wherever this is set. They have so many criminal interactions!
One of the closest to the theme actually.
To answer your question about my game, the controls aren't delayed, but rather jumping/shooting are based on when you release the button, since holding the button does something else.
Apart from that, the idea could be interesting, but the actual story is pretty weak in my opinion.
I really enjoyed it, thanks.
Was the theme growth or two buttons? Looks like a random entry.
Also I don't really understand why is this an "visual novel", if there are almost no interaction and interacrtivity? Although, I liked the music and the whole idea of not making a game is actually brave!
Even as it somewhat missed the gameplay part, I don't feel like it would be a mistake.
Keep up the good work!
