Description
Save the Sea!
While we are living the materialistic dream with cheap stuff, the sea becomes more and more polluted. With your unique power to dance off the pollution, you can save the ocean before it's too late.
Drown Drown Revolution is a rhythm game based on old classics. Featuring four different unique (and “handmade”) songs in different difficulties – with just 120 BPM for a relaxing day on the beach up to 200 BPM where you will realize your own insignificance in life.
The main goal is to survive the song – press the down coming arrows on time! If you miss an arrow, a carried pile of random junk will appear and move your target up a beat. If you hit too early, you will lose points – at some point you will fail the game.
Features:
- 4 Songs with 4 difficulties!
- Adaptive difficulty!
- Scoring system!
- Ranks!
- Bubbles everywhere!
- A whale in the backround!

It's a simple concept, yet effective concept and that's the strength of it :)! Really nice work with the graphics, it looks and feels polished :D! I did found the font a bit hard to read, but that's maybe just me :3
And also, i really liked that you've created a game with such a morale. Saving planet from destructive human activities is very important and it's my pleasure to see this topic here, in games you create. If it appeared even in our favourite media (talking about games) this means that we still can save the Earth.
Congratulations! Great job, great game!
I enjoyed the songs and the trash models. I wasn't sure what to think of the parchment backgrounds for the UI; It didn't seem to fit the theme very much. The sand at the bottom has some blown out light hitting it, which doesn't help focus and composition of the scene.
I dig the whale silhouette.
It is special feelilng when yoe end a song and all your arrow are raelly close to the top, but you still did everything great.
Loved it!
One minor complaint is that I think it would be nice if there was a small audio indication when you got the arrows correctly / wrongly.
But about the gameplay, when the gabbage stacks up, the arrows seem do not go with the rhythm. Maybe this needs more adjusted.
First time I played I lost after having filled up only the bottom two levels and the game didn't give me any warning that it was a fail condition. Maybe it said something to the side, but I had no attention to spare, so if there's a limit where you loose that is further down than the top-most possible, I think there should be something of a dashed line to let the player know what type of margin they have. It also helps staying more focused if and make it more exciting if you _know_ that you can't afford a single mistake.
If you don't bother take a look at our game when we focused on Graphics and visuals and see the results that we got:
