While I enjoyed the graphics and music, as well as the main gameplay idea of mining resources to build rockets that defend your planet, the game was too confusing to me. Some elements such as CO2 / waste levels were never explained and whenever I built a rocket I would just fly it around without knowing what to do with it (flying it into the sun did nothing as far as I know). While the presentation and idea are great, more work just needs to be put into conveying the game's ideas to the player.

Cute little game with several interesting ideas and mechanics. The mood is very serene and calming, until those assteroids turn up.

I couldn't figure out how to build towers, though. And just collecting garbage and flying it into the sun isn't fun or interesting for very long. So the game mechanics either need to be better explained or more polished. Also, a bit too slow-moving and calm for a LD game that needs to capture the players interest within the first few seconds.

The graphics and music were quite good, and the idea was interesting enough, but it kinda falls short on execution and explanation. Why am I flying rockets into the sun - do they even do anything? How can I stop the asteroids when the rockets phase right through them? Is there even a win condition?

With some more explanation (and polish, especially in rocket controls), I think this'd be a solid little game.

Not a bad little game

Neat little game! I only got as far as trying to survive with four asteroids coming in. I'll just note that there was a bug where one of the turrets looked bigger than the others and missing its rotating cannon part, and my player vanished.

This one was really well done and I couldn't stop playing it. The music went really well with the outer space motif. I got pretty close to 5 turrets but I ran into an unfortunate bug where I couldn't exit out of a turret. I'll have to give another go after I try out some other entries. Nonetheless, great work to everyone involved.

Great graphics and the audio really helps you get into the game.

Cool game, with cute graphics and music. I find pretty hard to hit asteroids when the come from the top or bottom of the screen. Love the way we can control rockets.

Art was very cool, also the minigames (flying rockets, shooting asteroids). I think that it would be really helpful (it would be for me) to know incoming asteroids and also the Sun position before you mount the gun/rocket (allows for better planing). To me, asteroid always spawned on the exact opposite side of the planet than my gun was, so my planet was always destroyed before I had a chance to destroy the asteroid. Is it intended? Also would be very nice, if asteroids were stopped during the time you are flying the rocket, otherwise there's no way you can protect your planet.

Overall I like the rocket flying minigame, bit neutral about the crafting part, felt frustrated about the shooting minigame, cause my gun was always on the "dark side of the planet."

Fun to play, think i got a bit behind the curve as i had barely any time between asteroids and still needed to build two turrets. Nice sound effects, decent graphics, sound idea. Nice stuff!

The artwork has a consitent theme and the sound fits the gameplay very well. However the gamemechanics seem to be unfair at times. For example i had it happen to me that multiple asteroids spawned in so quick succession that i was not able to progress any further, since i was completely occupied by shooting all those asteroids down.

Fun game. I did find it a bit annoying that the planet wouldn't spin faster or the asteroids move slow because my turrets would always be on the wrong side of the planet and I would lose feeling like it was the games fault.

Very well polished game! The graphics and sound are great, but I thing that he asteroids come too quickly. I found it's more down to luck than anything else, as you only really have 1 turret at that time, and it has to be in a position where you can actually shoot it. You could just wait for the asteroid to spawn, then build the turret, but I feel like that that defeats the whole purpose of building up a defence. But, in general, it was a great game to play!

Cool entry! Seems complex at first view but, in fact, it's easy to start to play and discover mechanisms thanks to a well polished game play and good narrative (like you know when an asteroid is coming and you have time to react). I liked that you had to steer the rockets into the sun. At times it was a little tedious, when you had a long distance to go.
Balancing between setting up a good defence and disposing waste was good and fun.
Soundtrack was good but the effects (like shooting) was a little bit too rough for my ears.
I liked the graphics. Very simple but stylish.

Nive game. I liked the combination of gameplay mechanics, but not all worked together as well. If you spot an asteroid when flying a rocket you couldn't go back and man a turret without actually flying the rocket to the sun or crashing it back on the planet and wasting resources.
Very good entry. Keep it up.

@thijs-tak i was hoping that when a player found themselves in that situation, they would try to slam the rocket into the asteroid.

Nice little game, with cut graphics and good mood. I didn't know how to build a rocket from the beginning but I figured it out soon. It would be fun if the turret shot rockets affected by gravity. So you can hit asteroid from large part of planet but you have to count with gravity during aiming. Cool entry anyway!

Great entry! It's nice to see a game with a mechanic that makes you want to avoid firing wildly. I think another animation or two to differentiate between mining and building the turrets/rockets would be helpful but overall a very fun time all around.

Good trifecta tension between, CO2 Level, Asteroid, and Get the Prime Objective Done! :thumbsup:
- The Tutorial is on point
(I suggest to have some animation for each of those steps.. instead of 'static slides')
- It's nice that you could take out the asteroids with rockets instead of turrets. :ok_hand:

The Little Prince and craft mechanics is very good combination.
