Endless maze runner with ever-growing mushrooms.

Try to escape before mushrooms invade everything and suffocate you, or worse!

Spoiler alert: you won't make it in time.

PS: B.O.M.B.S

Controls:

  • move with arrow keys
  • fire with space
  • bomb with shift
  • pause with esc

Tools we used:

  • p5.js for the code
  • p5.js for graphics :smile:
  • FL Studio for audio

Sadly, sounds effects ruin the framerate so we decided to remove them...

Very simple but it's a complete and fun game. Good job!

I would low the contrast a little bit, the rest is awesome, it looks good even using only geometric shapes

this game is freaking awesome! Controls are easy! Game makes me reminisce the maze screensaver of windows (actually made that my technique to pass stages.) Blob difficulty gets high when you progress. and I like how they combine and fill the space like alien. Only regret I have is that I only made it to stage 8 until I tired out. 9/10.

**Music** Great! Really like it.

**Graphic** Simple, but I really loved the fact that the level keeps changing colors!

**GamePlay** I always loved that kind of maze games where you need to find the exit!

I really like your music and the idea of changing enemys to different shapes over the levels.
the firing also works quite well. I do have a problem with the rotation though. Somehow that really needs to be smoother.

Lovely graphics style! Reminds me of a 'Super Hexagon' game.
Also liked the soundtrack. The controls are a bit off: coudn't press space, up and left arrows at the same time (works with space, up-and-right arrows though).

Simple and enjoyable, the rotation was a little jarring, but with the repetitive music and neon colours this made it slightly trance like.

Graphics, especially colors, can become quit hard on the eyes :(

overall pretty good little game.

DAMN that was a blast. I really enjoyed the color transitioning in combination with the music. The graphics were simple but fitting the game. It's beautiful. Would have been great to have some impact sounds but still good job!

Nice, but my eyes are melting XD I like this color change anyway. Nice take on the theme, good job on the different songs and world generation.I had to zoom down a little bit to have a decent framerate, and i think the gun cooldown is a bit broken =) I managed to get to the 6th level btw

cool little game, but don't put the goal of your game next to the frame for debug.
Seems like this game is more fitting to the theme "it's spreading" than running out of space. Cool game though!

I not sure why, but the game feels pretty good. It's fast, responsive and precise. Some colors changes hurts my eyes and one of the songs drove me a little bit insane, but it was a good experience anyway!

pretty colorful! I like the color change! The camera rotation seems a bit stiff. pretty easy as well. adding sound effects would make this more epic!

Nice idea for game, it is light and interesting. Good job in bomb mechanic, they're so useful. Only one thing that I must to point out is any match with theme. But anyways good job and good luck.

Actually, it got boring really fast. the visuals look cool but the gameplay is not engaging. throughout the game, I didn't really feel that I'm running out of space. maybe it should have been more difficul to make it more fun.
