CASTLE DEFENDERS
Introduction
You have eight different characters in your inventory that can fight for you on the battlefield. Each of them got a unique characteristic.
On the map there are two castles and yeah guessed right you have to defend your castle.
Also, there are flags positioned on the battlefield. They mark your territory where you can place your troops. The enemy can destroy your flags and once destroyed you can not rebuild them (your space gets smaller).
So you have to play strategic right, not to run out of space for your troops and to destroy the castle of your enemy.
Let the fight begin!

Already thought that maybe a destroyed flag belongs to the enemey and can therefor be recaptured?
Btw its already kind of playable on Smartphone & tablet

I liked the mechanics of the game, even though i found it a bit too hard. Well, im not a good player at all, so i guess in this aspect my opinion is biased. However the functionalities didnt show any bugs or clunkyness, so its not a negative point.

I think the balance is too tough for this build. I don't even know if I made a dent in the enemies while playing. I think starting with much weaker enemies while the player gets a handle for the controls, then scaling them to be more powerful the longer they survive would help the feel overall.

I played it and beat it on the first try and then beat my time by about 20 seconds the next try :D I had luck with spamming low cost units and never got to see where tankier units would be optimal but still, I enjoyed the art style, the music was fitting and the sfx were serviceable. I would like to have a little bit more context for what the units excel at, rather than guess but I understand how lack of time would result in some cuts (I can relate).
A thing I would alter is how zoomed in it is. I couldn't see the bottom part of the screen due to GUI and couldn't find a way to move the camera or anything. It would be nice to see the entire, beautiful map!

But it's very cute and fun.
He gets 15 start gold and the player gets 0, so he has an advantage.
We testet with 10 gold and it was way too easy.
