Music at the beginning is pretty adorable and catchy.. Had some issues when running in my browser so will try on a different computer later tonight (was seeing massive frame rate drops on the first level).. hoping it was just my computer

I really like the way this game controls. It definitely got me into a flow state. The art and backgrounds were nice as well. I could see this going somewhere with the right polish and maybe bonuses when you kill multiple bacteria in a row. Good work!

Loved the graphics and setting. Would have liked to have a level counter so I could compare to how other people did (I lost count).

Feels kinda like that Spore™ stage, when you're a microorganism. Really takes me back. It's a bit laggy though, you might wanna do something about that.

@blurred-lines thanks for fixing the link quickly, I was here a while ago and almost missed playing your game. The control scheme is very clever, challenging but when you master it it feels good. Like @luckydaisy I also had some heavy frame drops, mostly in the later levels, and I have pretty hefty internet. Good game :)

Once you get the hang of the controls it's pretty intuitive and fun. Some sound effects would give it a little extra pizazz, but otherwise it's pretty clean. Solid work!

After a while, it gets a bit repetitive and feels like there isn't much variation for each level. The artwork is good, but can use some more detailing for the background of each level. The player movement is somewhat challenging when trying to kill the bacteria, but doesn't quite fit the gameplay as a whole. Also, it doesn't really feel like I'm running out of space, since the screen size stays the same, too. Decent first try!

The art called back Dr. Mario for me in the best possible way. I loved that game.

Really enjoyed the background music. Found it a little difficult to play on a Macbook, but I suspect that's a hardware limitation with the mouse controls more than anything.

Thanks for posting! Really fun play!

Lag is a bit unpleasant. Love the limited control scheme, but would like to see some more enemy variety, maybe some that path back and forth or shoot projectiles.

Simple and nice, I had a hard time playing because of frames dropping when rotating, maybe the rotation code is slowing down the game?. Fixing that will greatly improve the game.

Interesting game. I'd suggest taking off the controls before every level. The stuttering made it hard to play at times, but other than that it was very fun.

Cool mechanics, but I think it needs to be more challenging

I really liked the art in this, the bacteria looked cool, but I really liked the backgrounds.

Nice controls and art, it has potential but needs a lot more polish and complexity to not feel stale after a few levels. A bit laggy.
Also I don't see the jam theme at all in it, you should opt out of this category.

Enjoyed playing it, didn't get too far though. I saw in another comment that a level counter would be nice.

Nice entry! The art is pretty good, and the music is appropriate but it gets repetitive after a while (maybe add some other sounds or variation?). The controls are a strange choice, but it adds an interesting level of challenge that I think actually works pretty well with this game. Gameplay quickly gets challenging, but I was able to beat the entire game after a few dozen deaths. Overall well done!

The game looks rather simple but it is fun because of unusual control, good graphics, and interesting common idea.
