Horny Demons by Team Infernus
NSFW/18+
Survive the day to day grind while sacrificing your prisoners to the horned ones.
About
Horny Demons is a deck building game in which you must gather resources in order to summon demons and gain their power. Keep up appearances as a normal, productive member of society until you can summon the horniest of the horny. There's also a cameo of the succubus from our main game as one of the greater demons.
How to Play
You start each turn with a new hand of five cards. Click and drag up to three cards each turn to the pentagram to play them. You lose 1 Food plus 1 Food per Prisoner each turn, so make sure to stock up. You lose when you run out of Food. When you gather enough resources, you can summon demons by offering the supple bodies of your prisoners as tribute. Collect powerful cards from the demons as you work your way up the demonic food chain, from lesser to greater to Satan herself.
Content Warning
This is a game about a cult that takes prisoners and sacrifices them to demons. Do not base your real life relationships on a video game sex cult.

I like the risque theme and the level of polish in the gameplay!
One small visual tweak would be to add margins around the play areas so that the decks don't touch the edge of the screen (see [beware of tangents](https://schweizercomics.tumblr.com/post/11966164633/the-schweizer-guide-to-spotting-tangents)).
Tag me if you end fixing the event deck (seems allowed as per the rules) and I'll give it another shot!
Great work :)
And hey... our game isn't winnable either so... we're cool :D
The art is really nice, too.

Hey there. I've played your games on previous jams, and said "why the heck not?", let's continue with the trend. And I am pleasantly surprised. Despite the progression glitch, this is quite well balanced, satisfying and even addicting. If the progression actually worked, I'd call it your team's best game to date. What can I say? I'm a sucker for card games and resource management. It has a lot of growth potential.
Here's hoping you can sort out the glitches in the system. It's quite disappointing reading that there's a lot, and finding that it's blocked at the very first step. [Our team](discord.whalesandgames.com) is looking forward to seeing the finished product. Do ping us if it gets tweaked. Cheers! :whale:
Couldn't quite find a good use for relics, since the exchange to get them tended to be the same as what you'd get back for using them. But I'm assuming there would have been more uses further along the demon progression.
Great entry!
Thank you all for the comments, and for trying out the game! A lot of you were asking about the demon progression, so we wanted to let you know that we just uploaded a version with it and the event deck fixed. You can win the game now!
@itsn8 Thanks for letting us know, it was definitely not intentional. We've now fixed that in this new version.
@primitive-concept You're correct. Relics are primarily used to summon upper tier demons.
I'd love to see it with some added polish down the line. Overall, good entry!
Overall fun game and I love the tone!
While playable (even with the bugs) I think some improvements could be made to the UI for clarity.
Both the event cards an the left and the demon cards on the right are bit unintuitive to interact with. I thought they were just information for quite some time and was confused as to what they do. Only after several turns did I notice that I could click them.
Otherwise, well done.
Running out of food (prisoners need food every turn) and having too much overdue rent will cause a game over. Sacrifice prisoners to summon demons and you won't have as many mouths to feed.
Sadly, I feel the same about this game. It is basically "Underhand" which was great and innovative, but the game adds nothing to it and it feels bad.
Your art is great, theme is at spot, but the game provides nothing new to already existing concept, which I find really sad.
