Good entry!
"The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."
I feel that the small bits of user experience could be improved and polished more, like having a warning when food is low, or when loss is imminent. Also, the "blind buys", as the other person has already said.
Aside from gameplay, I liked the *smooth performance* and the clear audio.
I agree that the blind buy mechanic is less than ideal and has no real value for the game. As time was running out I never got round to finishing my shop system and was forced to implement the blind buying as a quick fix XD
This was the first time I attempted a strategy game for LD and I learnt the hard way the sheer amount of code a balancing required. This meant that I had less time than I would have liked to polish the graphics, audio and tutorial.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing more feedback. Happy Ludum Daring to all!
The gameplay is simple, but challenging at first. The discreet sound and cute graphics aids it well, because they're both very well made and fit well together. And I have to say, when I put a basket right next to a gathering point, the rapid sounds and super fast numbers increase felt extremely rewarding.
Overall, I'm impressed that you managed to nail the graphics, audio **and** gameplay all by yourself in the 48-hour compo. Your game is complete, and performs above average in every category. Good job!
At first I had no idea what I had to do.
I was a bit confused regarding the Items you could unlock. I don't see the reason why it's not possible to see what you are about to unlock before you do it.
Also, it took me a while before I knew which resources had which purpose. (Maybe rethink the way the GUI works? Just a thought, not a criticism)
I got the hang of it after some time and then it was pretty fun :)
Overall very nice job!
Nice art assets too. Everything's great, good job! Make more of it.
Nice concept it was fun to play at this game :)
The music is nice, not crazy but not bad! Good job anyway! Rabbit are so smart in the futur, they can build rocket!!
But I've managed to launch the rocket.
At first the balance was right, but then too easy. Great job, and this is a solid game for LD.
The rocket design couldn't be more appropriate.
