The cutest garden by Quorusa
First Ludum Dare for me. At this occasion I learned from Monogame (even there is a lot of things that I don't understand for the moment).

I used these tools : - Inkscape for characters/background - Audacity and Bosca Ceoil for sounds - Monogame - A lot of documentations ! :)
Context of the game : You're a gardener of the cutest magic garden. Flowers are very big, but weeds too... The owner is left for one week and want keep his garden with just flowers. But when the owner left, a gang of weeds come and want conquer the garden and flowers ! You're here to snatch these weeds.
One day equals 60 seconds, if at the end of the day it stay weeds, you running out of space.
Edit : If you couldn't see the source code on BitBucket, it's on the Google Drive.
Updates : - Return to day 1 and number of weeds corrected - 2018-08-21

But the positive side, it's there is place for improvement !
Thanks for feedback.
For the slow placed, an improvement in the future is to spawn object to be more fast or more low.
Thank you for your feedback. :)
Thank you for the idea.
The sound effects were quite nice which worked well with the art.
All in all a nice little game!
I must say that I'm proud of my little "Good job" at the seventh day and the "Oh no no no no" when it's game over. Ahah ! :D
So well done :)
Also, you should change you bitbucket link from https://C_S@bitbucket.org/C_S/ld42.git to https://bitbucket.org/C_S/ld42.git
Because now it throws an error when somebody wants to have a look at the code.
Cheers.
So I put the source code in the Google Drive with the executable file.
Thank you for your warning.
Yes, it needs more work. :)
Thank you !
(What was your error ? When I'm log out I can access to Bitbucket, but the error is because there is nno readme.txt. But when I click on Source I can see the files and the code)

Great first entry. The game is a little bit basic but I liked the idea in relation to the jam's theme. The artwork is pretty neat as well!
Great job.
Here's a little something:

Only complaint is how slow the movement felt. Also the music was a bit repetitive, but again congrats on the jam you nailed the theme.
yes, I want participate next LD. :)
I wanted basic game to have the opportunity to improve it. :)
Ahah ! Thank you for your picture ! Very fun !
For the movement a possible improvement is to spawn object which help to go faster or lower. It's noted !
Yeah, I note for the music too. I'm agree with you.
Thank you. :)
I want to learn how it works. It's a great idea to have good habits. :)
No, it's not intentional that weeds spawn on top of flowers. Oh... I didn't know that, thank you. For the hit detection I knew that there are just top and bottom which are detected. But it's not intentional, and this is on my list to correct this. Yes, I know music is repetitive, but it's good to have confirmation.
It's a good idea to have some variations of noise.
Thank you for your feedback. I really like that.
Keep at it, hope to see what you come up with in the next Ludum Dare!
It seems like you have some good ideas on what you'd improve next time (or if you keep going with this) - that's awesome. In my case, taking the time to think about things like this helped me a lot over my entries. (One other tip: playing with the tools you use to make the game in the weeks leading up to the competition helps more than you'd think) I think that is going to help you a lot; so keep it up! :)
I suspect if you do another one of these at some point, you will be surprised how much more you are able to do in the time given. Thanks for a fun entry.

Thank you !
Yes, I have a lot of ideas to improve this little game.
And I have a clearer idea how to make futures games.
Yes, this time it was not prepared because I knew the last minute I can participate to this Ludum Dare. But for December, I practice my skills and organization of the code. :)
Thank you for your tips and feedback ! :)
