In this level I used all the animals but didn't fill all the spaces.

Don't be deceived by the innocent theme, the puzzles can be challenging, but in a very balanced way.
I enjoyed playing.

I don't love the "yay" sound effect when you clear a level, it's a little harsh. Also, I sometimes had a hard time telling what shape the really big animals were, but these are minor complaints about a good game. Well done!
Thanks for playing!
I streamed it here, gameplay will be accessible in the VODs: https://www.twitch.tv/ildfuglen (Time is around 1 hour)
It also taught me I'm super bad at puzzles.
I love it!
Thank you all for the kind words and feedback! I really appreciate it. It's always scary wondering if people will like your game, even for a gamejam, so it's great to hear from people who do like it.
@rob-white I like your gamefeel recommendations, I definitely agree the game could have more gamefeel. It's quite stiff feeling at the moment
I agree with your feedback, and I wanted to implement the exact thing you described but ran out of time! :( If I revisit this game in the future I'll definitely do that or something similar!
To improve, highlighting the squares that you are dragging an animal over would make the game more readable, as would some scaling animations for lifting and placing the animals. Minor things really, it's in a very good state for a Ludum Dare game already. Very good job!
It's was also a good idea to associate each animal to an instrument, it's little details like this one that change a normal game to a good game
Thank you all for the kind words!
@sveta Level numbers would definitely be a good idea!
@devastus I definitely agree about those recommendations for making the game more easily readable.
I thought it was clear, but some people have not been getting it immediatly.
I've been thinking about ways to change the tutorial text language, or perhaps a visual animation of the giraffe being dragged in could have been better?
Either way, thanks for playing!
My suggest would be to add an indicator for which level you're on.
