Amazing game! I enjoyed alot when playing, i dont know why but after about 30 turns, the "pick up"(Shovel Icon) changed to "Place Here". I am not allowed to remove buildings and just need to wait untill the city is flodded. My best so far is 2073 i dont know why this game has no rating tho

Fun entry! A lot of strategy involved here - and (at least to me) it seems the only way to survive is to go green (real world applications?). Anyways, my best score was 1695. The visual style was very nice, I wish there was a bit less text on the screen so I could take it in more (however the text did communicate helpful information). I like how the water fades with varying depths. Nice job!

A fun , nice little game that I feel has some nice potential.
I enjoyed the gameplay, but saw no winning goal, is there any?

@ytaha: The pick/place function is a bit under-developed. I ran out of time before I could fix it's bugs and quirks, and make it more significant for gameplay. So far it's main function is to allow creating plateaus for late-game score milking, or, if worldgen allows, building dams: valleys are not flooded unless the water can reach them. Removing buildings is not supposed to be possible: if, again, I had more time, I'd have the game detect that there are no more moves to be made, and automatically skip turns until the end.

@hyprgloo: Thanks! The text dump is due to Ludum Dare quality coding - I ran out of time before I could do any sensible tooltips, and generally streamlined GUI. "Perks" of hand-rolling everything.

@darylsteak: The goal is to get a high score. Game being over doesn't necessarily equate to losing :)

Tidy little game, shame there isn't much of a winning condition though

Very cool idea, the flooding is a very nice implementation of the theme. The graphics are also pleasing, so overall, great job!
