Get Comfortable by Chillen
This is a 3-minute journey through the struggle of bed, poor temperature control, and relationships. Navigate the bed, keeping warm or keeping cool, while your partner slowly makes their way onto your side of the bed. Can you make it to morning without heat stroke or hypothermia?

Controls
Only Keyboard/Mouse for now. To heat up, stay under the covers. To cool down, get out of the covers. The more of your body is out of the covers, the cooler you'll get, and the more of you is under the covers, the warmer you'll get. Try not to die!

Background
This is my first entry into Ludum Dare! I wanted to see if I could make a game in less time than I'd spend on a compo, and I think it was pretty successful :) I only put about 12 hours into this, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I worked mostly solo, but my lovely girlfriend helped with some design chat and a few of the assets.
Software used: Godot 3.0, Gimp, Inkscape, Linux Multimedia Studio, Audacity
Assets: Kenney saved me from having to care about assets. The bodies and icons are all Kenney. Music was 10 minutes in LMMS.
Known Issues
- Web, Mac: It seems there's some out of bounds errors occurring on web mac builds. I've attempted to put up an OSX port, but I have no way of testing. Feedback on the Mac build hugely appreciated.
Changelog:
- Chrome Particles: It looks like there's an active issue on Git regarding 2D particles in Godot and Chrome. The Windows build (available on Itch) will keep the original particles, but the web version will sadly be missing some zZZZs.
- Mac Port: Added a mac port, but can't properly test it out. Seeking feedback!

@reizoukin Oh no! It looks like Chrome isn't very happy with this export from Godot. Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if there's been any fixes for it. For now, there should be a Windows 64 executable available as well, but it's a shame it's not working. I'll post the desktop link as a backup. I appreciate it!
Edit: It's been fixed. Turns out chrome just doesn't like 2D particles in Godot 3 right now.
I found a similar game, maybe you are interested to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/get-comfortable
@chaitae Definitely! I was really interested in making it multiplayer, but I kind of self-imposed a 12 hour dev time limit on this (which I may have broken a little bit) because there's LD42, Extra credits jam, *and* the game maker's toolkit jam this month. Smaller time limits to avoid burnout :) Might return to it in the future!
@panda I've been hearing about a few issues with certain browsers, and I think it might boil down to Mac. I've tried to add an executable Mac port, but have no way of testing it. If you were willing to give it a test I'd be hugely appreciative! If not I totally understand :)
Anyway really fun use of the theme.
Nice entry overall.
Just so you know, I added your game on my [list](https://gist.github.com/paulloz/2966cb9c674146d0a1ba44899ac6ab4f) of games made with Godot for this LD.
Also, I had the same issue with particles and Chrome, I'll check if it's already known and report the issue if not.
That's awesome! Thanks for that list, I'll probably show it off to a few people at future jams to give everyone an idea of what can be done in Godot. Trackblasters is *definitely* one of the awesome showcases.
It is listed as an active issue [here](https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/16281). Not sure what can be done of it, but I might take a look into it if it hasn't been resolved in the next few. Seems to have been around for months as a problem.
Thanks for checking it out!
One thing that did lower the fun value unfortunately were the arms getting stuck and not having a lot of control over the body in general. But other than that it was a cool game I really liked it.
