At first I was confused why jump is on the down key. But when I realized... I adore fart humor. Nice character and effects sprites. Music is good as well. Fart explosions feels really dynamic. Difficulty it too hard and progression is a little weak but I know that two days are really a test. Good job!

The art is super nice in this game! But, the controls took a bit of getting used to because they were reversed, which felt a little weird

Really tough and a whole lot of fun. An excellent use of a minimal control scheme, and the art is great. :)

Great game, my friend :) Played it several times, my max score is only 37. Very challenging game! I loved the graphics; it reminds me of Paul Robertson works.

Sweeet game Sublustris, the character pixel art and effects with audio was great! It took a moment for me to get hang of the concept with the jumping and avoiding all villians and got quite challenging hehe. Refreshing idea with and neat looking game Sublustris!

Really well done game, everything from the graphics to the music and gameplay is solid as a rock. I was
very impressed by the jump that also made an attack so it had 2 functionalities which was nice to see and not to mention the fart jump when you are in the water! Only thing that was bad would be the poor blurry text that displayed the highscore, but I asume it could be the default text from the engine you're using.

It look me longer than I care to admit to realize that shooting the gun had recoil by which I could move: could maybe point that out with a quick banner, because it made me think the game was broken for about 3 minutes, haha. I liked the visuals, and I'm a sucker for fart sounds, so: good go!

Interesting idea! Liked the challenge of moving based on recoil, though I think the firing automatically makes it too uncontrollable.

Would be nice to control when you want to shoot rather than it being automatic, fun idea though.

@drkr, i'll make 2 different types of controls soon- manual and auto.

I played the original and the post-compo. The post-compo was improved soo much. I felt the difficulty and audio was much better and perhaps the fluidity of the game also. So  for that.

Although , I liked the post-compo alot. The main thing I liked about it is that its difficult to lose. I lost one health somehow but after that all the fishes and ghosts can't touch me + plus my score kept on rising + i maintained the right water level at all times. Eventually, I had to close the browser because I had something else to do.

It felt like I was invincible, which is fun.

I like having complete control of my player. I realised it was on auto-fire but i like to have the option of clicking to fire for example. It also took me a while to get to grip with the horizontal controls - felt they were initially unintuitive.

Audio and graphics are great on the post-jam version - especially audio. Game is super fun.

I still don't get the justification of the controls being "inverted" but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun. I prefer the multiple jump mechanics that allows to burn enemies, it has a nice flow. Congrats also on the graphics, the sprites look really cool.

@mza Source code is now available (i've fixed broken link), its a Defold project, all game logic written on LUA.

Played both versions and liked it very much !

Must love the fart humor here

I had some kind of bug on the post compo version where my hit points would never decrease when I hit a monster.

You think that makes the game so easy ? Well, the plunger spawned into the wall so I could not grab it and since there can only be one at a time, I had all the time in the world to watch myself die slowly...

Very nice little game overall !

The controls do take quite a while to get used to though.

Keep it up mate !

@maksime, I'll rebalance difficulty in next version and fix the bug with the plunger. Thank you for report.

Great art! The controls were a little weird but simple enough that getting used to them wasn't a problem.

Absolutely amazing pixel art! I really liked how the jump functioned as a downwards attack. The idea of constantly shooting and moving in the opposite direction struck me as odd at first, but actually gave the game a really unique and interesting playstyle.
