The graphics are great, too bad there is no music to give energy to the game. It doesn't seem to fit the theme since energy here is just life point ? (but who cares the theme is just here to help).

Enjoyed playing your game man, did not beat it yet since it poses quite the challenge. Hope you enjoyed this LD as much as I did.

Made it through the levels. Really liked the pixel art, especially for the enemies and the particle effects.

It's very impressive. The graphics are AMAZING, there's quite a bit of enemy variety for it's length, and the sfx are satisfying. 2 things: the length (this is only a minor issue, as it's a game jame game), and the platforming. The jump isn't very high, so platforming is difficult. I know it's called a platformer, but I'd like it to be more action/shooting centric
Overall it's an solid game. Very impressive

Pretty challenging, but fun game. I enjoyed the art style and the enemies were challenging to a point where it was encouraging at each death to keep trying and defeating them. The movement was pretty good, aside from the fact that the jump was kind of wimpy. Though I really loved the rest of the game. I'd say flesh this out a bit more, it could be a solid game down the line!

Solid jump 'n' shoot game, very well done graphics, animations and particle effects. The one thing i wish for this game though is that the theme was utilized in a more interesting way rather than an electricity themed health bar. Good job though !

Great game! I loved the art and overall presentation. The characters look amazing I liked the bullet trails. I would recommend exporting the game as an exe instead of an installer just to make it more accessible. I would also suggest making the player face the direction of the mouse rather than the direction he is moving just to make it look a bit more natural. Great job!

An interesting entry! Graphics and effects are stunning! Level design makes platforming sometimes hard. This makes the game a bit difficult to play. Music would have been great with this game, too bad there isn't any.

Wow really loving the visuals for this! The animations are well done. Great job finishing this during a game jam! Agree that music would've made it even more outstanding.

I really like this game's visual style. It has this rather sleek flat/square looking going on which works really well. Even the particle effects on your bullets are little squares! The colors are quite nice as well. I will say that firing your gun feels a bit weak and could have used some screen shake (I'd watch this video for some pointers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=216_5nu4aVQ). The gameplay itself is pretty solid, though the level design could be a bit claustrophobic at times. I didn't feel like I always had ample room to dodge enemy shots or jump over obstacles. Still, I'd say I enjoyed my time with Power Loss overall and it's definitely a very solid entry. Nice work!

I found an issue, if you are close to a thin wall, you can shoot through it.

I really like your game! The art was visually appealing, the levels and enemies were designed well, and the controls were tight. I have to agree with @superpokeunicorn that game feel goes a long way with this kind of game, and your bullet particles are a really good example of such. Also, the lack of music really does hurt the experience. It's clear from the quality of your game, however, that you're very talented at the aspects you did tackle. This game is really fun, and I need more levels! Great job, keep it up.

Pretty nice game, if a bit standard action platformer. Nice pixel graphics and animations, fun to jump and shoot.
Power bar is just a health bar. Maybe next time try to weave the theme in to the gameplay or mechanics more, you'll be surprised at the innovative things you can come up with.

Love the visuals! Great job on those, music would have made the experience even better! The sound effects bring some life though, so that's good. I feel it misses a little bit of beefiness with the shooting or getting shot not doing much of an effect at all. Some screen shake would've been pretty cool!

The controls are tight and are exactly what is needed with those very accurate jumps needed in parts of the game. Made the platforming feel nice and predictable.

All in all, enjoyable and very beautiful game, this one!

The graphics is great. It is well playable. Unfortunately no sounds. It is well made.
