Collapse by Willops
A game about collecting yellow cubes whilst avoiding falling to your doom. Platforms collapse after 1 second.
I didn't have time to fix the issue of the mouse showing up in the game. If it bothers you ALT-TABing into the game window fixes it.
"R" to restart a level.
WASD to move.
Space to jump.
Shift to sprint.
Green tiles collapse after one second.
Red tiles prevent you from jumping and collapse after 0.5 seconds.
Bouncy tiles bounce you up.
Sandy tiles collapse if you land on them, but not when you walk onto them.
Known Bugs: ✔
Mouse showing up in middle of screen. Fix: Alt-tab into game window
Music stacking over and over. Fix: Don't restart on the first level

But the music is VERY cool !
I liked the boosted air control you get by being able to toggle sprint, I could fly across the level but then hone in a pinpoint landing. But that leads me to the main reason I had to stop playing, the collision detection on the pickups just felt unfair, I would be practically clipping into them and then start jumping away only to notice it hadn't registered. I also felt like my 'feet' should extend farther, I seemed to just skim over the top of the pickups until I got frustrated.
There was also one bug where I was looking straight down, then jumped and my camera was able to rotate past my feet and ended up inverted.
Overall the only detractors from this game were the little polish bugs, a fun game that I'd like to see more of!
Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam!

What I liked the most about this game is that the look and feel, mechanic, and sound/music is very simple, but it all fits together neatly in a very enjoyable package with suprising depth. Possibly the best game I played up until now during this LD!
I'm surprised at how much mileage you got from just the 4 tile types, but their use in the various levels shows quite a bit of creativity. You've done an equally good job of slowly introducing the game elements and strategies one by one, and combining things in later levels. The last level does pretty well as a final exam of everything you learn to do in the game, which is how final levels should be.
If I had one complaint about the game, it would be that the pickup radius sometimes feels pretty unforgiving. Maybe a larger radius would help, or maybe visible feet so I have a better idea of my positioning?
