funny fancy puzzle game (especially with customization)
but, why a menu that need arrows for a game mouse only ?

Yes indeed why use a keyboard menu when the game is mouse only??

And the tiny puzzle pieces when they are pre-expanded makes it harder to click on them with precision. If the hit areas are bigger it'd be much less of a hassle to pick up.

A competent puzzler.

@dunin @tuism thanks for your reviews! I didn't really thought to much about the menu thing, it just was like the easiest way to do it, but thanks for the feedback

Nice game -- really digging the animations and colors, and especially the sounds and music. Game mechanic is pretty simple and straightforward. Good job! :D

I can see the game might be an OK puzzler, but it's unplayable for me.
Looks like the scrolling background is moving per frame, without being attached to delta time, causing it to move so fast it looks like an epilepsy screen. I'd recommend you fix that now.

Cool game. I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/wNBCLkIQclA

Nice take on the theme. Also thanks for reminding me of LÖVE2D, haven't used it in ages gotta check it out again soon.

Cool graphics. Lots of fun. Reminds of tetris but not really which I like.

@leon75 I uploaded a new version called "delta" to the itch.io page, its now using delta time on the background

@raogs I am glad to hear it! I think is the best framework/engine for 2D

@jupiter-hadley as always, thanks! :heart:

Also thanks for the reviews @drunkardwolf @super8bitrafa @steventrouble and @nikki93

Hey I really enjoyed the game, everything is very juicy, even a bit too juicy haha. I would suggest tuning down the camera shake when you put once piece in a bit, because its something you do very frequently so it basically is camera shaking almost constantly. The background is a bit distracting for me, I dont think it deserve that much attention that it is screaming for now, maybe tone down the saturation a bit so it looks a bit washed down, letting the main arena pops up. Otherwise like I said, a very solid entry! Good job!

Nice game, though it would be good to be able to move the pieces on the board, instead of putting them back in inventory when clicking.

You have a good game here! You could probably create a simple level generator for this game and launch it. Well done!

Nice game you have here. The puzzles get a bit too easy toward the end because of all the remaining single blocks. You should find a way to end up with less (none?) of them. Nice take on the theme.

The scrolling background looks neat!
The preset level I think should use more deep pieces, since it's kinda simple for now.
