I wasn't able to play with anybody so I'm sure that would've improved the experience, but I'm surprised how much ya'll were able to put into this game in a single weekend! It is almost unbelievable. I've built hex-grid games myself and I know it is always a bit of a hassle to get everything hooked up just right. :)\nPity it was multiplayer tho, that really limits the audience, especially for a ludum dare. I did a game against myself, and that was ok - but fun is hard to judge in that case.\nA singleplayer version with a set of challenges with stupid AI could really work well for this!\n\nLove the visuals on the map, very crisp and colorful. The amount of information to take in is a bit overwhelming and it took me some time to figure out how the capturing, attacking & tech level systems work. After that it was smooth sailing. The game is very polished, and I really like the look of the map and the transition between different vantage points.
