Interesting, would like to see a score (depth?) or maybe a boss mob? Thanks for sharing the game

great voice acting x), there is a cruel lack of feedbacks when you hit ennemies. You could add some red Fx to show that indeed you hit the spooky skeleton with your chainsaw. You also have 2 main Core gameplay here: platformer and killing skeleton, maybe make a priority on one of them. Cool graphism !

I liked the sound effects, but it took me some time to understand the game mechanics

The game looks really cool, making two 3D models with animations in 72 hours is amazing, and the game idea fits perfectly the theme of the Ludum. I missed having "hp", I got a lot of zombies hitting me and I felt inmortal, 2 seconds later my character was flying direct to the lava. Anyway is a nice game, good luck if you keep working on it!

My favorite thing had to be the sounds skeletons made when they died. Hilarious. Movement seems a bit slow but fine once you adapt. The buttons definitely add more fun to the game then simply running around. Hit feedback is hard to gauge and it would be great to have a score (either time-based or skeletons slain based). Great assets as well. Nice work.

This is a cool concept for a game. There could be a little more polish, especially in regards to the sound effects, but the art is amazing. I especially like the skeleton.

I really liked the graphics in this game, the idea and controls were also pretty decent. My only complain would be that there's is no objective or score. Anyhow greatk work, keep it up :)

Cool little combat arena game! Environment and enemies looked cool. I wished for a bit more interaction, the intersection of chainsaw and skeleton could have used a bit of oomph and the jump felt a bit weak. But I liked the rising tension of the ever-diminishing land mass as I tried to delay my inevitable toasty doom!

Thanks for the comments, about the depth our plan was to give a score UI based on that and a boss fight later when the player gets to a X depth for exemple, unfortunately we ran out of time and we've ended up publishing the game without it,,, we also cound't make UIs and more sounds, sorry about that.
@rustymonky @kaipi @anstabo @rother-games it is the first time we made some sound fx of our own, we decided to try it out with some pitch distortions on audacity and that's what we got haha glad you liked it!

I really like graphics and specially the toon shader on characters ! I think you could add a feature that warn the player that the block is going to fall.

I enjoyed the control of the character in your game, and the graphics were really nice! Also I was able to make the character hug a block without touching the floor, which seemed like it was on purpose but i'm not sure! Add a nice UI, boss fights, score and music and you've got yourself a really good game! Well done.

A great idea. The camera needs more work (When I was at the front of the stage, I would love to see the back stage). Also, the enemies seem to have no purpose. They won't kill you, make you fall, or anything. Graphic wise, the characters and the blocks look good, but they lava looks a bit repetitive. Definitely a good effort!

There's potential here, first: Using the saw makes no difference, you can push enemies aside quite easily, second: When you jump while touching an enemy the character does a really high jump, physics should be polished, third: Using the high jump is possible to make a button dissapear and thus making it impossible to continue.

I would love to see an improved version :)

Game looks really nice, and the few sound effects are quirky enough to help create an atmosphere. There's a lot of potential here and if you keep working on Underground Trip, I'd start with feedback (as I see a few others have mentioned already). I'm still not sure if I was even hitting any skeletons with the chainsaw. Ultimately I ended up trapping them on a platform until they fell in the lava which was awesome, but probably not the intended method when the player is carrying a chainsaw. Your use of the theme is great though. Descending floors combined with individually falling floor tiles made an cool dynamic that could carry the game with bit more polish. Good work!

I really liked the mechanic, nice way of interpreting the theme. Only the fighting was a bit strange and I didn't always know if i hit something. Some sound and some visual feedback on when a block will fall would also be nice. Overall very nice game!

i enjoyed play the game but maybe some adjustments could be useful. First, add somes sounds FX and just one music. The main song is always the most important in a game for me.
You can also add a timer to see what is our best score. And finally, That strange because the main charater and the enemies are very well done but the background, not enough for me. Otherwise, It's a great job for a Game Jam, so well done :)

It was actually not that bad! Got a nice flow after a while when you move around, searching for the buttons and avoiding creating impossible locations. The combat did however feel very unnecessary, I dont think I hit a skeleton ones, and it just did not feel very effective to begin with, especially as the "removing-island" mechanic also doubles as a way to remove the skeletons. Would rather see just a slight improvement of the controls and hitbox of the character to make the movement a bit more smooth. Great work! Might give it another try later on.

Gameplay is alright, it's just the regular combat method doesn't feel as responsive as the charged attack does. Sometimes I felt there was some spawning issues with the buttons whenever the lava would lower. Also, I think you could have the placement of the buttons more fair because sometimes I would be blocked off after chasing other buttons. Decent entry.
