Splinter $ell by Colletto Gregory
Congratulations ! Now you're a Splinter seller ! Unfortunately, our process is a big mess. Our boss buy great splinters printers but don't care about stock. So, it's your task to manage all orders and be careful on stock ! If it's full, it's explode (We know, splinters are quite dangerous).
I'm confident, you seems to be the seller we need (not we deserve, thanks for you time).
This is a simply game on which you have to move splinters (color blocks) to booked orders and extend your stock.

Controls : - Move splinters -> Left mouse button on the splinter you would move and another left mouse button click on where you would move it (If you move on another splinter, they will switch their position). - Select splinters and Orders -> Right mouse button to select Splinters and Orders. To book an order, you have to select all splinters ask and the order. - Pause - Escape to Pause the game (Escape another time and it's stop the pause). - ~~Ctrl + F4 - Don't use it, legends says that it could destroy our reality (or at least reality in your screen).~~
Short advice, it's very tricky with trackpad. A mouse would be a good friend ;)
Following a short visual explanation on how you have to booked a splinter order (After the jam we will make a playable tutorial, will a better looking ;) )

But then I read how to play and the game is really good! Feels like tetris, but a bit different.
However the controls make the game harder to play than it needs to be. I often got confused what left and right mouse button did and it was hard to select all the blocks needed for a form and then finding the correct order for it.
If you want to improve this further in the future I think a more intuitive control scheme would be to drag and drop to switch blocks and to click to (de-)select a block. To make it easier, the first matching order could be selected automatically once the shape fits.
Sadly if you play it fullscreen on a 16x9 monitor you cannot see what the bottom most order is which makes it even harder.
However, the controls really aren't intuitive at all.
I had to play 5 times before understanding how to sell the blocks.
There are multiple times where I lose because I struggled with the controls.
It's really annoying because otherwise it's really fun!
well played, cool game !
It doesn't help that you start with 2 seconds to react too ;)
Other than that, it's quite good actually. The screen gets filled pretty fast but the game isn't too hard. Good idea, too bad the tutorial wasn't really helpful to understand how the game works ;)
