Townsman (City-Builder/Action-Adventure) by Efmi_
In Townsman you play as a Mayor of a growing town. For some reason mysterious ghost-like zombies start appearing at your town, and they are craving for your blood. The games objective is to defend yourself for 10 days against waves of zombies. I hope you enjoy. :) Btw, this game is really, really hard to win.

Obviously it's a jam so it's understandable, but with more types of buildings, enemies, and a bit more polish, I can see this game becoming something really fun and intriguing.
Good work coming up with a very cool idea!
- I did not know how I took damage. The zombies always followed me, but as far as I could tell didn't touch me, still I took damage. Maybe it was damage to the buildings, but there was no feedback for this and overall I had no idea how to prevent damage.
- The game does not reset correctly after death, the number of used spaces stays the same as in the previous run and I could not build anything.
- It would be nice to be able to buy ammo multiple times without leaving and re-entering the town hall.
Overall though, I enjoyed the game and played through it (won on day 33/10, so there's another small bug ^^), good job!
I would have loved to add some kind of effect when the player takes damage but didn't really have time to implement that. (Zombies deal ranged damage)

-the town hall and the houses should probably use different sprites, it could be confusing when scaling Townsman up to find a townhall in a sea of small townhall lookalikes
-the zombies could use a visualization for ranged attacks like throwing a weapon (or spitting blood a la 28 days later)
-more ammo when purchasing from the town hall or have ammo scale up as the townhall is upgraded
though I don't want to seem like I'm commandeering your creativity, It's a good Ludum dare compo game! and it's up to you to decide whats best for Townsman! I'd love to see more updates to this!
Things that you listed came all to my mind, but I hadn't enough time to implement them.
