I don't think your link is correct. It has " **edit** " in it.

Looks like a cool idea, but I can't seem to get to the itch page. You may need to publish the game?

Itch link doesn't work! It sends us to the edit page, which only you can access.

Fun game. Interesting idea. I wasn't able to beat the fourth level (the one with the enemies). Great work!

I now know how to type "jump" very fast. This was a very good use of the theme and it was just the right length to not get repetitive!

I've been thinking that it was much worse when I looked on the screenshot at first. But hey, we are on ludum, who cares?) Actually in the end the game showed itself much deeper, very interesting and fun to play. Nice one!

Movement mechanics are super cool and the game works well! Maybe you could have added something else than just a unity object as the character, but otherwise you did a really good job!!

Nice concept, I see this being able to be combined with a typeracer style game. Well done ! :)

Really cool game, and easy to understand. However, I couldn't leave the last level (typing "end" just gave me "Cheaters will be banned.").

I enjoyed the game, but yeah some extra graphics would've been nice. Still enjoyed it though, well done!

Good job! Maybe could have had 'j' work along with 'jump' so you could control the player easier.

I can see why these genres don't go together...

wow that was not a fun game. the jump timing was so picky, which would have been moderately annoying even if I didn't have to type "jump" without making a hasty typo every time I needed to clear a new deathtrap (in which case it was really irritating)

I had to redo the last level because "exit" didn't work and then I ran into an enemy before I could "stop" and figure out what the hell went wrong, which did not add to my enjoyment of the game

@stevenjmiller At the end, you have to type `win`, not `exit`. I should probably allow both commands...

@helpcomputer @raffe I did not have a lot of time for this edition, I had to make some sacrifice

@coldmoose I get your idea, but wouldn't it change the game too much?

@Sophie :scream: Sorry you did not have fun. Did you play the web version or the downloadable Windows version? There was a bug about the `win` command that prevented to go to the victory screen, I had fixed it in the web version but not in the Windows version. I've just removed the Windows version so that the bug can't be encountered anymore... Hope you'll enjoy more my next game...

@BelowParallel_Ian :warning: **Spoil ahead!** I had myself difficulties to pass 4th level at start, but with a lot of jumping, one manage to avoid or kill monsters quite easily.

@damien-remars I played the web version, and I did eventually complete the level and type `win`, but I was confused and irritated that when I went to the door the `exit` command didn't do anything, contrary to the game logic established by all the previous levels. (The game teaches you to type `exit` at a door, and then I died because the rules changed without warning.) It wasn't until after I had gone past it and died that I saw the help text about typing `win` instead of `exit` in this case.

@Sophie Ok, got it, I should definitively not remove the `exit` command in last level. Thanks for your feedback!

Quite nice, though it was really hard to type fast enough. I wasn't quick enough to beat the last level. Anyway, well done, great idea!

I *really* enjoyed this; the genres you chose should definitely be incompatible, but you've made it work. I particularly liked that you took the time to add the ability to jump on enemies, even though people will probably only ever encounter it by accident.

I found what I think is a minor bug: there are a few situations where you can end up with multiple overlapping
"conversations" at once, if you are typing commands during some multi-line output.

Adding some sound effects and music is the only suggestion I have for how to improve this game. Great job!

I actually do need to take a shower ...
Awesome game by the way! I really enjoyed playing it and had a good chuckle. I'm having muscle cramps in my right arm after typing 'jump' so many times though ...

I liked the concept a lot, the snarky humour of text-based adventures definitely shone through. Are you aware that you can jump while you're falling?

Really clever entry, if a bit simple. This is a solid concept; with more content it could be a pretty interesting game.

Unpopular opinion: changing "exit" to "win" on the last level is actually pretty funny if it can end up killing you. Nothing wrong with trolling your players, haha.

btw, the narration gets a bit weird at the ends of levels:
