Controls * Click with the mouse on the yellow/blue components in the ship to turn them on and off. There's limited power so you might have to turn some things off to turn others on.

That was interesting, I was going to immediately launch into how the lack of instructions or labeling was bad, but then I quickly got to playing with the relevant bits, i'm not going to spoil it here :)

I kinda wished there was more to it, though that's pretty much what everyone is beholden to at jams :) The big question is - could you fail? Don't tell me here, don't spoil it for other people :)

Nice concept and idea, sad that you ran out of time, there would have been great potential.

There is a lack of challenge in the game as it is so far, tried to fail on the game several times, but even by doing nothing you get to home.

Nice concept, though I would have preferred some clear info on what every mechanism does before trying it myself, either on the game's page or in the game itself.

Controls explained in the project description.

Currently there's no way to fail getting home. I ran out of time putting in the obstacles.

It's a shame that you didn't get more done, since the FTL vibes I was getting were pretty fun. Did one of the components just play a warning sound though? If so, that's pretty funny!

I don't really know what you're supposed to do here. No matter what components I select, I get home without any trouble. It's an interesting concept but not quite fleshed out enough yet. I saw that you ran out of time, so it's understandable. I hope you had fun making it - and if you end up fleshing the game out any more past the LD, message me so I can try it out!

I like how the ship concept looks, it's a pity that there is not much gameplay going on, I wish I could see it finished!

Liked the prototype and I know how it feels to run out of time in these jams. I always have the same issue with my entries. Thought it was a nice concept though and can see the potential in it with obstacles. Would have been nice to see the ship get attacked so you'd have to turn the shields on and if there was a deadline so you had to speed the ship up while not under attack.

You have a pretty solid prototype, and I'd be interested in seeing where you go with this. I can definitely imagine some really hectic FTL-like game where you have to manage all the parts of your spaceship while dealing with various hazards. One potential idea (inspired by your lights): what if turning off the lights made the entire ship black, so you could only see in a small radius around you? Something like this could potentially make for an interesting trade-off.

Running out of time sucks, but I think you have some good ideas here that could be turned into a really fun game. For future LDs, though, you should prioritize adding gameplay so it doesn't get pushed to the end.

Too bad there's a lack of content in this game :/ It seems like the Power doesn't go down at all... The main idea is good though.
You might want to get a fun little game out of this prototype ;)
