I played this far longer than I'd care to admit, but the auto milker and auto feeder don't seem to do anything, in any case, interesting take on the cookie clicker

That's a pretty fun idea! I liked it, I'd give the player a bit more initial funds to get to the first cow purchase faster though!

I played until I could buy this auto feeder thing, but it didn't feed any of my animals :(

Also, when a beast reach age 500 (quite old btw), its selling price fall to NaN.

I didn't see the point of selling my animals ?

Besides that, the idea is really interesting and that could be very good game concept and a really addictive one (I already played more than what I thought when started :D)

Keep it up, improve it and it might become really fun to play, good job !

A lot more addictive than expected... I really wanted the auto feeder and milker and a lot of cows :-) But I couldn't see that the feeder or milker was actually doing anything?

Yepp, I can confirm that auto-feede and auto-milker worked. Nice idea and an original take on the theme.

Bug:"Anonymous users does not have storage.objects.get access to itchio/html/691427/more.html" error when pressing ingame back button from help.

Other than that, I don't play many economic management games, but I did like this one. It's simple, has just a few variables, has "stock prices" implemented and gradually you can buy stuff to automatically do stuff for you and you just have to buy and slaughter. Nice game overall.

Okay, when I first clicked into this game, I thought something was wrong, like the graphics were missing. I thought I was seeing the process that was supposed to be going on behind the scenes - but THAT'S THE GAME! So, I was skeptical, but now I'm playing the game in the background right now. I don't really have to do anything, since I bought all the auto-stuff. There's something funny about this game.

On first glance, it seems like there's absolutely no reason to like this game, but the TRUTH IS that there are TONS of games out there that are essentially exactly this, only with graphics and sound. So, I think that's what is great about this.

That being said, I'm not gonna play it more than once, but I've been playing in the background while typing this whole comment, am currently at 41,000 funds and 12 cows and 2100 + ticks and counting...

The name on the itch page "Less is More" is appropriate, even if the name is different here. I can confirm that all the auto stuff is working fine for me. Up to 46,000 funds now.

I like how the cows live to be about 700 years old. And the simplicity of the text telling you what you did is funny.

Hold on sec... I'm going make a screenshot of my current progress and post it here...

Here we go:

Sorry, that took a moment, but You Got a Pic!

Time to go buy some hay...

Pretty addicting game, don't be fooled by simple interface! Reminds me of candy box, good job.

It's pretty good as an idler, but I would have loved to see a little more colour. I've been playing it for a few hours now. I really like the slaughter mechanic, it sets this game apart from other idlers like cookie clicker.

My cow died and it was not even 700 years old.

I didn't really like the game (humour was the best thing but still lacking). It is solid cookie clicker, but it is only cookie clicker.
Thought making a game is impressive accomplishment by itself and especially for Ludum Dare so don't be discouraged.

It was very easy 2 get lots of cows and beat the game but I enjoyed the idea of it.

I never play these types of games (without real graphics, that is), but I did enjoy myself for quite a while. Surprisingly entertaining, great entry! :D

I am not big on cookie clicker games.
Seems to be an ok start for one.

On my first attempt I instantly slaughtered my cow. It turns out that that's not an efficient way to run a farm. After that I bought way too many cows and drowned in milk.

Interesting take on the theme! I liked that the prices would fluctuate a little bit over time. Presentation was nice and clear, but sometimes line heights would vary a little bit depending on what you were doing, throwing off the layout a little bit. Milking machine made for a good goal to aim for.

I'm not really a fan of idle games, but this one was surprisingly fun. There could always be more animals to take care of and more things to do. But I still enjoyed it.

Very cow, much game!
As someone else said, I also slaughtered my cow first thing on my first try, thought that was a nice touch to be able to do that. Maybe that is the real good ending of the game, because then I saved a bunch of other cows from being slaughtered =)

It got a bit hectic once I got my third row ow cows. Once the milking-machine is in place the game just plays it self though.

What I'm really missing in this game is ste ability to buy my cows one of these:

I had fun playing this. I liked that as a player you have some small subgoals in the beginning, the auto-feeder and the milking machine. It seemed that buying land was not necessary, I tried buying a whole lot of cows to find some kind of limit, but never bumped into a problem. I would have liked a stat that states how many cows I have. I liked that the price of slaughtering a cow changed when the cow had an age over 500 and below 600 days/years/ticks. If I wanted to buy lots of hay or cows, it was unclear if my fast clicks were all registered, since the numbers would only update every tick.
Quite addicting game, congrats. :)
