Well I can't rate it since I'm playing alone, but I did notice that ESC doesn't quit the game haha.

Good entry :)

Powerups are fun to play with, and movement is fluid. Could do with a little more variety, though. Other than that, solid LD :)

Movement mechanics are nice, and the gameplay mechanics are something I've never seen before. Graphics could use a bit of work, however, and it doesn't quite integrate with the theme as much as I'd like. Still, good work for your first submission.

Fun 2 player game, the strategy of zoning or being aggressive with bombs is interesting. Music and sound would have been nice, but totally understandable given it's your first ludum dare and it's a compo submission.

The game was fun to play with my brother. Only thing I can say is that the esc key does not actually quit the game.

@hoogmin @pixelgriffin Esc key is supposed quit to menu not exit the entire game. You can also only quit to menu when it says you can (such as at the end of a round). I have not had issues with it quitting at the end of a round but if that is the case for anyone else please tell me.

Bonus points for local multiplayer, my favorite! Took me a while to find someone to play with though ^_^. We often found there was no reason to go anywhere near each other or each other's bombs, so it was a bit stalematey, but sometimes had good games, but usually someone just messed up and blew themselves out of the ring. Encountered a bug one time where player one could not place a bomb - I believe he had an active bomb on the board when player 2 suicided, and then when the next round started, player 1 could never place a bomb again, had to restart the app. It was very hard to tell when powerups were pick-up-able, my opponent just thought they were buggy.

I liked the rather fresh gameplay, not quite like most local multiplayer games. Good job on your first entry to Ludum Dare!
