The plus button quits game for me. I'll come back and play once you've fixed that.

Interesting game, would be great on a phone but lacks feature for PC. Also had the game crash when hitting the plus button. Which I assume bought units for attack.

Also the game could really use more information in the UI. I would like to know the stats of my units and the expected stats of the target. This way I can make a choice on what I should attack based on what I have.

@zuhairghias @darkguardsman
The bug should now be fixed, thanks for letting me know!

I've also uploaded help images.
The only stat used for the minions are their level.
I had plans to show the success chance, but not enough time.

The concept is pretty fun as a game. I did however feel that playing to the end was fairly unrewarding. Maybe need more variety to the gameplay.

@zuhairghias Yeah, to be honest i am not very satisfied with my result myself. I wanted to give this type of game a try, but quickly learned that it needs more mechanics than i could implement/experiment in the given timeframe. I really appreciate that you took the time to give it another try and write some feedback, thanks!

Hi there, your game looks really nice although I didn't play it yet. I downloaded the Linux version but it doesn't want to run. Did you test it?

@furiouswitch I am working on linux(ubunut), so i would say so ;-)

There are probably some missing dependencies. Could you try to start the game from the terminal?
You could also try to run
```ldd RUN_linux```.
This will list all linked libraries and the path to them. It will also show if a library wasn't found. Which distribution to you run? I would be happy to update the linux build with the missing libraries as it also helps me with future projects!
Thanks for letting me know!
@furiouswitch I've now used a clean ubuntu 18.04 installation on virtualbox to check for missing dependencies and added them. In hindsight, i should have tested that on release day.
Hi again, so it played fine after the changes you made and I just finished playing it.
Nice game, I like the graphics style a lot and the idea and it has something in common with my game although the goal is the opposite here :)
I felt the game itself was not very alive. It was like everything was too static and that part made things less interesting. I wish there was a bit of motion even if repetitive like for example a minion howling a cart of gold through the door after each raid. Also, music would surely liven things up. Nice work :)
It looks rather good. leveling is quite addicting for the first 30 min. but without other features it gets dull after that, even with the swords. they do add more depth though.
If you want you can watch me play it on youtube : ) I'll upload it today in part 6 of the LD 42 series.
@tuteupaituamae Thanks!
@rik-thunder Yeah i also think that the game needs a lot more depth. The gold target (and end screen) were also last minute additions, that are set far to high. Thanks for taking the time to play and especially for making a video. It was so much fun to watch while you figure the game out!
That's a cool game but a bit slow, too static. Great entry, nice job ;)
It's an interesting game. I really like the idea behind it being a "evil lair manager" sort of thing.
It certainly could some more depth, but i could imagine that'd be something that came if more time was used on it. I enjoyed myself quite a lot by playing it, of course it was a bit of a long game with that large amount you needed to gather.
I really like the way you can see on the background that you've accumulated lots of treasure, gives the game a good feel.
The quirky look and sounds of the game really add to it as well.
Great job!
Was nice, a bit slow moving would have loved more upgrades for your army sooner and maybe equipment but had fun with it! also loved the sounds! well done
Those grunting sounds got the audio 5 stars.
