Hit boxes are very imprecise... Almost all the damage I take is from moving next to a scrap piece and visually not touching it but taking like 1/3 of you health as damage.
I really like the music loop! But the other game sounds I don't know... The periodically "thumb thumb thumb" (even if you stand still) should that be the motor of the bot? In my opinion all effects are too intrusive (hear what happens if you kill the bot that splits into 3).

@Anon Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, the hit boxes were a problem during the entire thing, I'll be tweaking them in the follow up. Glad you liked the music! The audio is going to be balanced better in the follow up, and I'm going to look into making the mech thump of the enemies quiet unless they're close to you.
That thumping is the enemy mechs!

fun game! I've seen this use of the theme in a couple other submissions but I like the mech idea here.
Also pleasantly surprised when some of them started breaking into smaller parts, that was cool.
Music is good and the controls are smooth - I just wish I would shoot faster, I think that would be more satisfying, especially since you have bullets cancelling each other out.
I enjoyed your game!

Realy cool mecha designs. The controls felt great. Shooting might need a little polish(like shooting faster and having a muzzle flash or somthing..). I really liked it. :)
