Be The President by MrSerp
Do you have what it takes to last a full term in office? Maintain your political power by approving or vetoing bills, interacting with foreign leaders, and maintaining a healthy open line of communication with your adoring fans, and remember, don't push that big red button!
Hi everyone, first time jammer, and even though I didn't get in everything I would have wanted to into the game (like the BNN app), I still had a lot of fun making it, hope you get a few chuckles out of it!

As far as the months go, I could definitely bump up the timescale, it was just brought down to fit the amount of content I was able to add.
Thanks for the feedback!
I didn't last long at all, but I thought it was hilarious.
Now I must get finding moose and squirrel.
5/5
But the idea is interesting
Oh and the real president wouldn't read that much. Maybe next time have an intern read out loud :D
Thanks for the feedback though! Glad you got a few laughs!
Was the BNN button on my phone supposed to do anything? I just got a blank screen, but it would have been nice to see some reactions to my momentous decisions.
Anyway, I feel I've learned from your game how to be president, and I am definitely prepared for the job. On my second try, I was as good as George Washington, if not better! (On my first try, I may have pressed the big red button 17 times in a row before even sitting at my desk.)
I had also planned for a Rabbit News app and for phone numbers to work, maybe with continued development all of those can be implemented!
If you ever complete the phone and Twooter app features, I recommend using Yarn Spinner to script out any dialog exchanges. Night in the Woods was made with it, and I tried it out for the first time on this jam (not so subtle plug for people to try out our game). Yarn Spinner was easy to learn and accomplished everything we wanted it to.
- Nice idea; I like the idea of literally sitting at the desk and looking around and doing things from there
- I like the twitter thing, to the point where i wish you did more with it!
- Suggestion: it might have been cool to have the big pile of letters be letter that arrive periodically, to keep the player jumping between different things on the desk, and wonder what might come next, etc
But overall - good job :)
