It might be a good idea to add a way to remove buildings, as it was I found that having the missile launcher was actually a disadvantage, because it meant I couldn't replace any buildings that were producing a surplus.
I managed to escape in 2 minutes and 53 seconds.
I could have waited longer for something to die but I didn't have the patience. I liked how everything balanced out and how you could get a feel for it. And the meteors were a nice touch. I'm not sure if placing the turrets strategically mattered but that would be pretty cool. Good work.
Oh and the models were great! Surprised you knocked those out in a weekend!
The music loop was too short and became irritating as you had to sit and wait for the numbers to climb up to the launch amounts.
I liked:
The Graphics: You made several good looking low poly assets that made it look and feel like the moon. I could easily tell what each building represented. I would have liked to have seen a space skybox for the rocket launch, even if you only see it for a bit.
The Gameplay: It was a very fun game, reminding me of RTS games like Starcraft. It is layered enough that you can learn how to be the most efficient (how many solar panels, turrets, etc to place) and finish the fastest. I also like that you had an end objective.
I didn't like:
The Sound: The music was okay but I didn't really get that space vibe I would have liked. Also, I didn't like that lack of sound effects. I would have liked to have seen something for placing a building/turrets shooting.
Overall, great gameplay and great idea. Good luck!
Being able to sell the buildings, because on my first 2 attempts, i ended stuck over producing one type of material and another was always low but never running out.
Also, the requires resources is very high. And once you got the whole base setup, all you need to do is wait, so after about a minute and a half, I was done playing, and all i had to do is wait till I have enough resources, which was until around 6 minutes and a half.
For further improvements, try to add more events besides falling meteorites.
Otherwise, fun concept, good job!!
@chao the missile launcher is kinda useless if you want to do a record yeah
@kalibrated thanks, the resources were in the info on the right
@infernal yeah, the sound is pretty awful
@hungare the current record that i know of is 2:02 from a friend of mine, mine is 2:06, but i agree with your points, thanks for you comment
@tiberiusuciu yeah, i was planning to have option to sell, and stop production of something, but did not have enough time
Thanks for the feedback!
The game is cool and very well balanced, as you need to plan the mix of buildings you want to have to produce a little bit of everything. I'd like to have a little bit more building space, though, and maybe the option to destroy and replace a building.
things that I liked:
- The fast load of the game on browser, while it has penalty of 3d models, it is really well optimized.
- The models quality.
- The use of the jam theme.
- Your particle FX.
- Nice gameplay. I would say a complete loop!
What i didn't like so far:
- Fairly complicated controller inputs comparing to the game size. Jam games in a way of another have to get simple controls, as the players will be playing several games per hour. And a lot per day.
- sound fx was not that good. but still not that bad either.

Thanks for the feedback!
Keep moving forward.
